PGH D3 all-Ohio 1st Team

There are some very talented players around Ohio in Division Three, ranging anywhere from a freshman who has taken the basketball world by storm, to seniors ready to move to the next level. Today, I will take a look at the PGH Ohio Division 3 First-Team all-Ohio team, a group of five players who have dominated all season long and are considered the best in this division. <strong><span style="font-size: large;"><img class="size-medium wp-image-209028 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/10/unger-rotated-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" />[player_tooltip player_id="92539" first="Hailey" last="Unger"], 5-9 2022, Arcanum</span></strong> One of the best pure shooters in Ohio with maybe the purest shot in the game, Excellent range, can score from deep. Finished the season averaging 18.5 points, 3.4 assists, 3.3 steals per game, shooting 41% from the floor and 36% from the three. Good handles, can slash and score, good midrange game. <em>(pictured left)</em> &nbsp; <strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="360697" first="Darriana" last="Alexander"], 6-1 2025, Cincinnati <img class="size-medium wp-image-379677 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/01/IMG_3295-2.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" />Purcell Marian</span></strong> Dee <em>(pictured right) </em>was ranked the #1 2025 in Ohio in the latest ranking update back in December. She is so explosive and uses her length and athletic frame to create issues for all of her opponents. Explosive and can score from anywhere. Runs the <span style="font-size: 12pt;">floor well, can finish with either hand. Very good basketball IQ for her age. </span> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="269385" first="Blessing" last="King"], 5-10 2022, Worthington Christian</strong></span> <span style="font-size: 12pt;">She is one of th</span>e most athletic basketball players in the Buckeye state, she uses her athleticism as a major advantage in a lot of matchups. She does a great job attacking the glass and is an outstanding defender, She can score from both the inside at the rim or can step out to the midrange, <strong><span style="font-size: large;">[player_tooltip player_id="92513" first="Allison" last="Basye"], 5-11 2022, Huntington</span></strong> A scoring machine from Southeast Ohio who can light it up from anywhere. Shows good range from behind the arc, can score well off the dribble. Also can put the ball on the floor and penetrate finishing with a good midrange shot. Does a great job playing downhill and scoring with either hand at the rim. High basketball IQ, does a good job playing through contact. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="360875" first="Zennia" last="Thomas"], 6-2 2022, Warrensville Heights</strong></span> Zennia showed everyone her ability to score with an average that topped 30 points per game. She is a long guard and jumps over the defense to score in the paint, Able to score with the floater.
