There were a number of players who joined that list and/or made nice jumps because of their play throughout the second half of the high school season and the early portion of the grassroots season. Below is a look at five young ladies who have risen to the occasion recently and stand out as Stock-Risers.

, 2025, 5-9 SF, Andrean H.S.
– Lindsay is a talented youngster who many people statewide aren’t yet familiar with. She has nice length, wiry strength, and she is a smooth and fluid athlete with a little bounce to her. For Andrean, you can find her on the wing knocking down perimeter jumpers, but she can also put it on the floor and attack the basket North/South. I think as she gets stronger, her shooting will be even more consistent, and her range should deepen. Additionally, she will likely become a more versatile defender. In the Summer, I would like to see her play against top players more consistently, though.

, 2025, 6-0 PF, Barr-Reeve H.S.
– Hannah is not a travel ball kid, because she spends time working on her craft in multiple sports for Barr-Reeve. I did, however, see her on video a number of times throughout the Winter, and she is rather intriguing. Because of her location in the Southwest portion of the state, I would say she has some similarities to Forest Park’s

, when compared at the same age. Hannah is extremely long, she still needs a lot of strength, but she’s fluid, fast, and somewhat bouncy. She also has really nice skill in the mid-post, and she will attempt to play the “right way” and seek contact on the block.
Addison Bowsman, 2025, 5-5 PG, Twin Lakes H.S.
– Addison put together an outstanding Winter, averaging 15.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.4 steals per game. She has a unique sense for the game, she sees the floor extremely well, and she can get the ball where it needs to go without issue. She is quick, has really nice length at her size, but she will certainly need to continue her weight room work over the years to absorb contact a little better. I really like her ability to change directions on the fly, still keep her head up, and typically make the right play, whether that’s distributing, shooting, or getting to the basket. She’s also a pest defensively.

, 2025, 6-6 C, Brownsburg H.S.
– Without question, size does draw a lot of attention from college coaches, and Avery has that in spades. However, she has made major strides since last Summer in her overall skill development and understanding of the game. She has a strong frame, good length, and she plays with a nice motor. While she isn’t the fastest kid, she will work hard at changing ends of the floor. Her hands have improved, she’s keeping the ball high more consistently, and she’s learning how to finish more instinctively around the basket. If she continues the same upward trend, she’ll be a force very soon.

, 2025, 5-7 PG, South Bend Washington H.S.
– Ryiah was a key contributor for the State Champion Lady Panthers as just a Freshman. She has a long, wiry frame, she plays with nice speed and quickness, and she will give great effort each time she takes the floor. She still plays mostly on ability and instincts, so as she continues to learn the nuances of the game and senses tone better, I think she’ll only improve. But she creates havoc defensively, turning over opposing guards regularly, she can create offense for herself or teammates, and she can finish around the basket from a variety of angles and with different finishing moves.
