Journee McDaniel Journee McDaniel 6'0" | CG Farmville Central | 2022 State NC (Farmville Central, 2022) was a great ball handler making her defenders lose their footing as she drove baseline by them to score some points. She led a resurgence for her team in the second half knocking down a three pointer and scoring on a drive herself the very next play. She was on a mission in the fourth quarter grabbing steals and driving hard to the basket for some points.
Kyla Bryant Kyla Bryant 5'8" | CG Salisbury | 2023 State NC (Salisbury, 2023) came to play as she was pulling up for jumpers, finding her cutting teammates, and making phenomenal cuts to the basket herself. She had a nice old fashioned three point play quieting the opposing crowd fans. She was jumping into passing lanes on the defensive side of the ball that she immediately pushed up the court.
Jamecia Huntley Jamecia Huntley 5'10" | SF West Rowan | 2023 State NC (Salisbury, 2023) was doing a little bit of everything for her team scoring off of putbacks and taking the ball coast to coast herself to score her points. She did well dropping down to guard taller posts inside to help her teammates, and she was definitely a rebounding machine. She was difficult to guard with the way that she was constantly relocating without the ball as soon as she passed it away.
Rachel McCullough Rachel McCullough 5'7" | SG Salisbury | 2022 NC (Salisbury, 2022, featured photo) showed out with her shooting knocking down three from deep finding the openings on the court. She was an asset handling the ball bringing it up the court breaking the opponents’ press, and she had some crucial free throws as the game was coming to an end to seal the victory.
Indya Nivar Indya Nivar 5'10" | SG Apex-Friendship | 2022 State #59 Nation NC (Apex Friendship, 2022) was finding ways to contribute in all areas on the court scoring the ball, grabbing rebounds, and knocking away the ball from her opponents while playing defense. She came alive in the second half making strong moves to the hoop showing why she’s a McDonald’s All American. Her IQ is already high making everyone notice her finesse with the ball as she got around opponents.
Jada Coleman (Apex Friendship, 2022) showed off her deep shooting, and she didn’t hesitate from driving hard to the basket even showing off an old fashioned three point play. She was an instrumental part for her team scoring points on all levels, and she made sure to protect the possession as she moved around with and without the ball finding the gaps in the defense.
Mila Holloway Mila Holloway 5'9" | PG Legacy Early College | 2024 State SC (Julius Chambers, 2024) was a leader for her team controlling the tempo driving hard to the basket or setting up a play. She showed off her range shooting from deep, and she did well finding her open teammates for some points. She didn’t shy away from sliding into the paint to grab some rebounds, too.
