[player_tooltip player_id="160416" first="Meghan" last="Mayotte"]- F, 5’9, 2023, Worthington Christian: College coaches, If you are looking for a player who can flat out play anywhere on the court, with composure, natural ability, and leadership, look no further! She drives to the basket with authority, makes with contact, and freethrows- well, she was 6-6 from the line! Great, reliable handles, and defensively strong. She finished the game with 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. (Featured Photo, with ball)
[player_tooltip player_id="360752" first="Megan" last="Weakley"]-G, 5’10, 2023, Worthington Christian: (Below, on defense) What a smooth, confident shooter! When she's in the zone, which is quite often, she's deadly from behind the arc. She finds ways to still get great shots, even with heavy defense applied, simply because she moves so well without the basketball. Weakley lets the game come to her. Incredibly bright future for Megan- she can play!
[player_tooltip player_id="269385" first="Blessing" last="King"]- F, 5’11, 2022, Worthington Christian: (Below, with block)Every time I see Blessing play, I find myself saying "Wow". How she moves from point A to point B in no time, the way she plays defense on a whole different level of intensity, and the way she rebounds the basketball, as if that ball was worth a million bucks, makes her so very valuable to this team. She finished with 8 points (3-4 FG/ 2-2 FT), 12 boards, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
Cherlyn Miller- G, 5’5, 2022, Waynedale: (Below, shooting)I was impressed with Cherlyn, in how she handled the basketball all game. The defensive pressure was very heavy, but she took care of the ball, played under control, and was a leader for her team.
