Prince showed why she is the top prospect in the state, with interest from Creighton and North Carolina. She scored 29 points, 17 at the free throw line, as her relentless attack of the rim overwhelmed Norris. Prince leads the state in scoring average but has evolved her game to be able to get more involved with her passing and her strength to help with rebounding. Prince is the most well rounded player in the state who can score at will.

Thompson established the tone early for the Wolves. Her hustle around the rim and mid range game allowed her to score 12 of 20 first quarter points, on her way to a 21 point day. Thompson and Prince combined for 50 of Elkhorn North’s 68 points on the day and were provide tons of energy for their team. Only a junior, Thompson should get plenty of opportunities in the future as teams will need to double Prince in defensive sets. She could be setting up for a big senior year.
