Division III
Cincinnati Purcell Marian came in with one goal on their mind and that was to win. When you win each round from Districts and so forth by avg of 22 points you know something is going to give. They completely put their wheels down and keep running there was no way they was going to get denied they overpowered you on the boards, good job boxing out, scoring putting themselves in good position to win. They really poured it on with the stellar play of Freshman Dee Alexander with 25 points and 16 rebounds. Congratulations to the Division III State Champions
Division IV
Waterford played consistent basketball all season long which carried over to the state tournament. Players played consistent with multiple scorers balancing each other out night in an night out. As long as the win came in the column that is what they cared about the most. They fought hard, not a high scoring rally to win their State Championship they played an dug deep to get that win. When you have a team like Waterford that does everything precise you will get the outcome they had and that was to become Division IV State Champions
