After missing several games due to injury, Riley did return and played well in the regionals. She had a solid year for the Knights and her numbers were solid again this year. Riley is a bigtime matchup problem with the ability to score from the perimeter, or she can get to the rim and score. Athletic and long, Smith will be attending Central Michigan next fall.

The Central Michigan recruit is ready to cap off an outstanding career with a big season. The long and lengthy wing is a matchup problem with her wingspan as she can use that for a defensive edge. Good perimeter game, deep range. Also showed some good footwork this summer when I saw her. Definitely a great one-two punch with Maddie Moody, another D1 recruit.

Strong down-the-floor passes, quick on the ball, and exceptional transition awareness. She will do better at grabbing rebounds if she makes contact more frequently, when she does, she creates a lot of good things. Aggressively as a outside defender when shots are taken away from her. Moved up to number 7.

Smith is ranked number eight in the Prep Girls Hoops 2024 Rankings, she continues to improve her game and gets better. She does a great job at composing her body control and having her feet set ready to shoot. It makes it difficult for her defender to guard her with her long athleticism. She steps on the floor looking like a post player, but she can light it up beyond the three-point line. Sees the floor and her open teammates, excellent court vision.

Jumping to the number nine to eight, Smith can absolutely shoot the rock from the outside. Plays both ends of the court very well while scoring on the move and in transition. Finishes well with both hands.

Her game just continues to improve after another good summer. Not only was she a key component as Alter won the Ohio D2 state title, she was also very instrumental for Sports City U (later Legends U) this summer. With her size, she is deadly from the perimeter, runs the floor well and is agile. Can defend multiple positions and has a good basketball IQ.
