There are many players in the Orlando area still looking for an opportunity to play at the next level. Many of these players have offers, some do not.
Ashlynn Dubois 2022 5’9” SG Evans
Dubois can handle the ball very well and sees the floor like a guard but has the frame of a forward. Strong and tough, she has a nose to the ball, getting rebounds and boding players to put the put-backs in. Dubois has the ability to step back and take the outside jumper. She is averaging 7.5 points per game and grabbing 6.9 rebounds per game.
Macy Merriehew 2022 5’3” SG Hagerty
Merriehew plays with a very high intensity level. A smart player that makes good decisions with the ball. Able to knock down the mid-range jump shot. Defensively is an in-your face on the ball defender that puts pressure on the opponent. Hopefully we can see her play at the next level.
Maya Jackson 2022 5’5” SG Oak Ridge
Jackson plays the 2 position and sometimes the 3-spot for the Pioneers. She has a career average of 5.2 points per game. For the Senior season she put in 5.4 points per game and grabbed 2.1 boards per game. She played well in the system for Oak Ridge. She has the ability to hit outside mid-range jump shot.
Jasmyne Wright 2022 5’6’ PG Ocoee
Wright, a tall guard for Ocoee, has a high level of basketball IQ and court vision. A career 1000-point scorer, she averaged over 9 points per game for her career. Wright is plays solid defense, gets deflections and tipping passes. Along with the points, she has a career average of 5.2 rebounds per game.
Britany Wilson 2022 5’6” PG Jones
Wilson plays very smooth and with a lot of poise. Always under control, and with a natural ability to manipulate the defender, with eye fakes, pass fakes and other sneaky moves. She can step beyond the three-point line and hit the 3-ball. Very aggressive to take the ball to the basket and finish with either hand. I won’t be surprised if she doesn’t sign very soon.
Good luck to all these seniors.
