The 2025 Prep Girls Hoops New Jersey prospect rankings list is out, which means we have quite a number of players to talk about across the state. While 85 are currently ranked in our list, another 57 more are included on our watch list. Here’s a look into some of those 57 prospects.
[player_tooltip player_id="414322" first="Molly" last="Frith"] - 5-4 PG, Delran
Frith definitely has potential to be a top guard in South Jersey after posting respectable numbers as a freshman, averaging 4.6 PPG, 2.5 RPG, 1.8 SPG overall. She knocked down 10 three-pointers on the year, about 25 percent of her overall scoring. Frith has shown that she can command an offense from the point, but just needs more time to develop. She’ll get that while playing with Delran without a doubt.
[player_tooltip player_id="414245" first="Ava" last="Giordano"] - 5-7 PG, Freehold Township
Giordano posted similar numbers to Frith this season for Freehold Township, a capable scorer who can shoot the three, but finds the most success within the perimeter. She can drive well and knows how to draw contact. We’re waiting for Giordano to blossom after averaging just under five points a game as a freshman. She’s gotten a great start to her career as a freshman and will improve with more playing time and consistency.
[player_tooltip player_id="414241" first="Amanda" last="MacGregor"] - 5-5 PG, Middletown South
MacGregor nearly averaged three points and three rebounds a game for Middletown South, nothing major, but she factored in well off the bench. She’s a solid backup point guard option as of right now, a player who’s shown an ability to crash the boards and spread the floor on the offensive side of the ball. Right now, MacGregor is still a raw talent, but with the near double-double performances she put on last season, the potential is there.
[player_tooltip player_id="333351" first="Sidney" last="Quinn"] - 6-2 PG, Gill St. Bernard’s
Quinn is an underrated player on our rankings list based on her skill potential from her height alone. Her 6-2 frame has given her a great advantage on both sides of the ball. We’ve already seen her dominate at times on the block as a scorer and her shot-blocking ability, while not fully developed, is quite impressive. Quinn is still figuring out her strengths and weaknesses, but she has superstar potential.
[player_tooltip player_id="333358" first="Katie" last="Renaud"] - 5-8 SF, Ranney
Renaud played in 19 games for Ranney this season, scoring just 38 points and hauling in 21 rebounds. Those numbers don’t necessarily jump off the page, but her production in different categories gives us a good indication of how she’ll factor into this Ranney team moving forward. With nearly 40 percent of her scoring coming from three, we’re expecting her to develop her perimeter shooting game greatly with more time on the floor.
