There will be four regions that comprise this year’s PGH Circuit – the Victory Region, the Legacy Region, the Dynasty Region, and the Triumph Region (the Region I’ll be covering). I’ll have articles specifically for those teams in the Triumph Region of the Circuit as we highlight and preview them. Below is a look at the Team Nite Nite Program out of Atlanta GA who will be in their 1st year on the PGH Circuit. They’ll be with us for the Knoxville Knockout (TN), Peach Games (Atlanta, GA), and the Triumph Region Finals (Spartanburg, SC).
Team Nite Nite was founded by Dorian Lee before Coach Larry A. Guilford approached him about starting a middle school team which is where this 2024 team started. Coach Guilford said their program is predicated on the following:
“1. We over Me
2. Hard work is a must in order to stay on the floor.
3. We don’t just recruit players, we recruit families.
4. You better be able to defend from one end of the court to the other.
5. Academically astute
6. Able to play multiple positions on the floor”
Coach Guilford said his last two seasons of high school were some of his most memorable times from his playing career. He said, “Our team, over a two-year span, went a combined 60-6 and was ranked #2 in the State of Florida. We played in the State Championship game my senior season only to lose to the #1 team in the state loaded with D1 prospects.” He’s loved the game of basketball since he started playing it at 5 years old, but ultimately decided to play football in college with a scholarship offer.
Team Nite Nite currently has two other teams with kids from all parts of the Metro Atlanta area. They have kids as far south as Lovejoy, as far East as Loganville, as far North as Canton, and as far West as Douglasville in GA. They’ve have multiple players at the next level and some who are currently committed for next season: Sianny Sanchez-Oliver (Delaware State), Unique Miller (Delaware State), Sara Viti (West Georgia), Madison Clark (Limestone University), Denim DeShields (Committed to UAB), Zaria Hurston Zaria Hurston 6'0" | PF Norcross | 2022 State GA (Committed to DePaul), Chloe Sterling Chloe Sterling 5'6" | PG Marietta | 2022 State GA (Committed to James Madison), and Laney Brock (Committed to Toccoa Falls College).

Individually, Coach Guilford just wants to continue developing these young ladies as players, but more importantly as high-quality human beings. “Our program goal is to continue to put these young ladies in position to develop lifelong friendships, and prayerfully to get them to the ultimate purpose which is a college scholarship”, he said.
As a program, here are some final thoughts Coach shared about Team Nite Nite: “We built this thing from the ground up with young ladies that are blue collar workers on all of their teams. Our girls compete at the same level as the big programs, and we deserve the same respect that is given to everyone else in this game. If you are looking for a program to market that does it the right way and really focuses on Player Development, Academics, Social and Emotional State of Mind, Exposure to College Coaches at all levels, this is who Team Nite Nite is!”
Here is why they chose the PGH Circuit: “I see the path that Prep Girls Hoops is taking to provide more exposure to the girls’ game. The fact that some of the top programs around are a part of this circuit and it doesn’t matter if you are a shoe sponsored team. Coaches joining this circuit just want to play high quality opponents. That is why I wanted us to be a part of this movement.”
Team Nite Nite is in for some elite competition, exposure, and coverage in the Triumph Region on America’s #1 Independent Grassroots Basketball Circuit!
