The Triumph Region Kickoff showed us that there is plenty of hidden gems in Florida and Georgia. It was hard to believe some of the talent that was on display with our younger players. We had career high games of 22 plus points and 10 plus blocks. It was a great weekend of basketball. Here are the players that stood out on their respective teams and who bought it every game over the weekend.
Alana Pinnock Alana Pinnock 5'6" | PG FL I 5’7 I Wing I 2028
Pinnock showed her prowess all weekend with her ability to get out in the passing lanes and attack the basket coast to coast. Always in attack mode from start to finish. Has great length which allows her to get a lot of deflections and steals. She had plenty of nice drives to the basket and nice float game on the weekend. Hard to believe she only a 6th grader as her game speaks well beyond her age. Game changer that is all over the court jumping out into the passing lanes and getting rebounds on both ends of the floor.
Hailee Brown Hailee Brown 6'4" | SG Paxon | 2026 FL I 6’4 I Center I 2026 I Q4 Elite 2026
Brown made it tough all weekend for her opponents to score in the paint. Her 6’4 frame creates nightmare matchups in the post. Always rebounding the ball at the highest point and looking to outlet to her teammates. Showed her ability to score at the rim with her soft touch. Brown showed her footwork with some nice post moves that led to easy baskets. She had a game on the weekend where she had over 10 plus blocks and 10 plus rebounds. A walking double double.
Alissa Azcuy I 5’3 I PG I 2026 I Miami Impact 2026
Azcuy was one of the most exciting players to watch on the weekend. A player that never takes any possessions of and a great leader on the court. Azcuy was one of the top rebounders from the guard position. Always attacking the boards on both ends. Showing her ability to use her speed to get to the basket and finish through contact. Also had a couple of nice pull up jump shots as well. She averaged over 10 points a game during the tournament.
Aceila Beals I 5’5 I PG I 2027 I Florida Lady Aces 2026
Beals was probably one of the top ballhandlers on the weekend. Always keeping her head up and always staying in attack mode. When her team needed a bucket, she was the go-to player. A player that wants the ball in her hand when pressure is being applied. Can score at all 3 levels. Floor General that sees the court well. A player that will only get better as the summer goes on.
Reese Holmon I 5’7 I SG I 2026 I Q4 Elite 2026
Holmon is a player that played on 2 teams this past weekend but no matter what always bought the energy to both teams. A player that sacrificed her body for the 50/50 balls. Always going hard on both ends of the floor. Showed her ability to hit the step back 3 ball and also handle the ball in transition.
Brooklyn Dominguez I 5’3 I PG I 2027 I Miami Impact 2026
Dominguez brings the energy to the guard spot for a talented Miami Impact team. She is the energy bus that makes everyone play up to her speed. Runs the lanes wide and always for a way to get her shot off. Was a sharpshooter on the weekend and when she was ran off the 3 point line she knew how to finish at the rim. High IQ guard that knows how to put her team in a great position to win. A player that can score at will.
Mia Chandler I 5’10 I SF I 2026 I Lady OTOD 2026
Chandler is a long lanky combo guard that uses her size to her advantage. Always pressing up on the ball and getting on the floor for loose balls. Her size created matchup problems as she could score inside and also rip and drive to the basket. Uses her body well to absorb the contact and finish at the rim.
