Nyla Underwood 2026 5’9 Eastern Hills MS, TX (House4Hoops 2026)
Nyla is the ideal “3 and D” combo guard/wing who has all the tools to develop into a real weapon at the combo guard position. I was very impressed with her ability to harass ball handlers in the full court with her aggressive on ball defense and active hands. She tied up ball handlers and forced turnover after turnover through her aggressiveness. She is good at getting into the paint with a live dribble and playing through contact. She subsequently lived at the free throw line due to her constant aggression on both ends of the floor. I was impressed with her decision making with a live dribble as well, she could play any guard position on the court but her long arms should be a good indicator she is not done growing. I would like to see her work on her ability to get to her spots with a shot off the dribble.
Deena Holmes 2026 6’2 Stucky MS, KS (Kansas Bluejays 2026)
Deena is an a lanky and aggressive forward who looks to have all of the tools to develop into a skilled player at the next level who can take run the floor and finish at the rim. She is aware when as a rim runner and is a beast when the defense is caught in transition. She is aggressive on the glass on both ends of the floor, and is good at high pointing rebounds over her opponents. She is good at using her frame to keep her opponents from having a chance of getting a finger on the ball by boxing out and skying over her opponents. She got a multitude of second chance points through her work on the offensive glass.I loved watching her get into the lane by putting her head down and finishing in the paint, but I would like to see her work on her handle.
Hayden McDowell 2026 5’7 Collinsville High School, OK (Tulsa Hawks 2026)
Hayden is a great player who thrives at getting downhill and getting into the paint. She is aggressive when driving to the rim, and is able to fight through contact in the lane. She can do it with a live dribble, but is also an aware cutter without the ball. I loved her awareness in the full court, she always stayed in the right passing lanes to space the floor and cutting to the rim to force the last defender make a decision. On the perimeter, she is a willing passer for her teammates and is not afraid to make the extra pass to find a better shot within the flow of the offense. I would like to see her work on her ability to create spacer for a jumper off the dribble, there were a few instances where the defense is playing back and she could have risen up for a better shot in the midrange. As she becomes a more deadly weapon on the outside, the paint will continue to open up for her.
Kenzie Denny 2026 5’7 Barlesville High School, OK (Tulsa Hawks 2026)
Kenzie is a skilled and aware combo guard on both ends of the floor, who has a real ability to create space with a live dribble. I was very impressed with her ability to create space out of the triple threat and with a live dribble within the half court. I was very impressed with her ability to catch any pass that was thrown her way, and then put it on the floor and use a cross over to create space. She uses her ability to shift her opponents by driving into the paint and finishing through contact. On the defensive end of the floor, she has real defensive instincts to deflect passes and play in the passing lanes. She seems to feel whenever a pass is coming and always has her head up to cut off swing passes. She is also an aggressive on ball defender who has the ability to poke the ball free from her opponent.
Ivy Oliver 2026 5’8 Spring Branch High School, TX (Just Play Elite 2026 Ellesse)
Ivy is a skilled combo guard who knows how to move without the ball and knock down shots from the perimeter. I was very impressed with her ability to score from the outside off the catch, she is good at staying ready to receive a pass and knock down opportunities with her feet set. She has the ideal frame to become a “3 and D” wing at the next level, which should not be hard with the grit she showed on the court. Oliver seemed to be playing through a leg injury so I did not get to see her take her opponents off the bounce, but she showed her prowess from the perimeter as a catch and shoot player. She showed an ability to play on the block when matched up against smaller competition, and is a willing rim protector on the defensive end of the floor. I was very impressed with her ability to do it all on both ends of the court, even with an injured leg!
