Alexandra Gordon 2027 6’0 Kinkaid High School, TX (Just Play Elite 2026 JT)
Alexandra is a skilled forward who knows how to use her frame to dominate in the paint. She constantly grabbed defensive rebounds and made elite outlet passes to find teammates in the full court streaking to the basket, or making the right pass and letting her lead guard walk the ball up the court. Also on the defensive side, she showed a great ability to move her feet and defend on the perimeter and contest shots. I was very impressed by her ability to do it all on the defensive end of the floor including protecting the paint and collecting rebounds. On the offensive side of the floor, she is good at using her size to dominate with her back to the basket and calmly finish after shifting her opponent out of the way to get a bunny hook shot off. She looks to have all the tools to develop into a high level and dynamic basketball player on both ends of the floor and I am excited to watch her develop.
Rylee Pondexter 2027 5’8 Duchense Academy, TX (Just Play Elite 2026 JT)
Rylee is a consistent shooter from the outside who can not only shoot from a high level but also attack the basket and finish in the lane. She is a reliable shooter from the wings and corners and stays ready for a cross court passed to be whipped in her direction. Her ability to put pressure on the defense from the outside created wide driving lanes to the basket, in which she drove hard and made the referees call a foul through the contact she saw in the lane. She calmly knocked down free throw after free throw, which is a great indicator that she is developing the right way as a shooter, and not just jacking up shots from the perimeter. I would like to see her work on becoming a better one to two dribble pull up in the midrange, as she puts defenses on their heels the midrange will continue to open up more and more for her.
Rylee Youngblood 2027 5’10 Strother High School, OK (G.O.C 2026 Black)
Rylee is a skilled shooter from the perimeter who can calmly knock down shots off the dribble from the midrange or beyond the arc. I was very impressed with her confidence with not only her jumper, but her ability to get into the lane with a live dribble. She consistently using her long frame and tight handle to attack her opponents and get two feet into the paint and finishing at the rim. When her defenders began to sit back and protect the paint, she calmly took the midrange jumper whenever it was given to her. I loved the energy and hustle she played with as well, she was consistently giving extra effort and diving on the floor after loose ball and long rebounds. I would like to see her work to play more aggressive on the defensive end of the court, she has all the tools to become a dynamic offensive weapon who can also defend the best player on the court, no matter their position.
Mariyah Bell 2027 5’11 Winfield High School, KS (Kansas Bluejays 2026)
Mariyah is an intelligent forward who is also the vocal leader on both ends of the floor. I loved her ability to call out plays and defensive assignments. It shows she is aware and is eager to study and learn the game. She moves well for her size and looks to have all of the tools to develop into a dynamic forward as she continues to grow. She showed an ability to play out on the perimeter and work with another big, while also actively crashing the glass for second chance opportunities. I would like to see her become more aggressive on the offensive end of the floor, and look to put her head down to draw contact and finish at the rim. I would also like to see her become more confident with a live dribble as well.
