Mila Espinoza Mila Espinoza 5'4" | CG Volcano Vista | 2025 State NM , Volcano Vista HS, Albuquerque, NM 5’5” Guard
Mila Espinoza Mila Espinoza 5'4" | CG Volcano Vista | 2025 State NM is a sound Guard that can control the tempo of a game with smart decision making, especially in transition where she does a good job of shielding defenders on her hip allowing her to operate with the ball. Espinoza is also a good shooter that will hit at a proficient clip – Mila can knockdown the trey(3) ball and has a good mid range pull up jumper if the defense over extends. Espinoza will look to help defend her programs State Title in 2023 as she should see significant playing time for the Volcano Vista Hawks whos playing rotation was primarily upperclassman this past season.
Mila has participated in the Big Time Hoops Showcase (NM), Southwest Showcase (AZ) & Battle in the Big Friendly (OK).
Brynn Hargrove, Hobbs HS, Hobbs NM 5’5” Guard
Brynn Hargrove is a promising Guard that has a good jumper, handle and has good energy on the court. The freshman displayed her ability to score at the Big Time Hoops Showcase back in March where she finished 6th in scoring out of 85+ participants at 13.6 ppg. Hargrove is one of the core pieces for the Hobbs Lady Eagles who have a very good chance of reaching the State Title game for a sixth straight year as a program.
Brynn participated in the Big Time Hoops Showcase (NM) and the Shes Ballin Extravaganza (TX)
Catalina Anaya, St. Pius X HS, Albuquerque NM, 5’4” Point Guard
Catalina Anaya is a tenacious defender at the guard position with relentless pressure, excellent cardio and active hands. Anaya forces several turnovers and bad passes from opposing players fairly often allowing her team to run in transition. By the time her Senior year comes around, Catalina Anaya should and will be a considered a top tier defender in the Backcourt. Anaya and St. Pius X have a good chance of winning their District in 4A for 2023.
Anaya participated in the Southwest Showcase (AZ) and the Battle of the Big Friendly (OK)
Jessica Roberts, Organ Mountain, Las Cruces NM 5’5” Guard
Jessica Roberts is a guard that has the ability to beat multiple defenders in a half court set – Roberts does a nice job of attacking the lane and scoring; hitting floaters over defenders if they rotate over. Roberts will look to help the Organ Mountain Knights fill a big void in the Backcourt with Senior Guard H. Dominguez graduating in 2022.

Aleena Rodriguez, Eunice HS, Eunice NM 5’5” Guard
Aleena Rodriguez is a knockdown shooter that can make teams pay if they do not properly rotate and or miscommunicate on coverages – Rodriguez is deadly from the corner and is always ready for skip pass or a kick out pass from bigs’ in the paint area. Aleena does a good job of gang-rebounding meaning she puts in multiple efforts to box out and gain position from any side of the hoop. Rodriguez was an All-District Selection for Eunice HS and will look to build upon her Freshman year success where she averaged double figures.
