In the 2023 age group, there were 66 teams, in 2024 64 teams, 2025 46 teams, and for the middle school-aged teams 64 teams were competing. This past weekend’s exposure event brought out coaches from all levels and had gyms packed with a lot of energy and a good basketball atmosphere.
Many programs brought multiple teams and truly made their presence felt at multiple gyms take a look:
Sports City U:
This program created a great atmosphere for every level they had competing. They display great energy and effort from the stands to the players. Going 13-1 for this program was impressive because the baseline and sidelines were packed with coaches. Everything that made success for this program took preparation. I don’t believe they played in an event and came out being great from start to finish. Women’s basketball coaches should know that this program has players that are either ready to bring greatness or can come in and make an impact. This program has three teams with players from 2027-to 2023 worth recruiting.
Indiana Elite:
Shooters shoot in this program and this program has some of the most unselfish basketball players that make the right play or next pass. Indiana Elite is consistent from top to bottom and the players don’t stop playing. I had a great opportunity to watch their teams play and see their 17u team get a big win against a great program and they moved on. Watching this program what has been impressive is their bench energy and the help they are to their teams. Every player does their part and they are satisfied with it in the end regardless of the outcome. College coaches will love this program because you can’t coach effort or force and this program at all levels makes it happen.
Meanstreets Basketball:
This program’s name matches it with the players that are in their program. If you want a tough kid and one that knows what adversity is like and to fight until the end the program to follow and keep an eye on is this one. I could watch this program fight through many obstacles throughout the weekend and have a lot of success. When thing’s got hard they did not back down or run they rallied together and did whatever they could all weekend. The love that is in this program is what is shown in the energy, effort, and efficiency of their players. Meanstreets is a program that from the 2026 class to the 2023 class has prospects that will bring a different type of inspiration to your program. When it comes down to the Physicality aspect of the right type of toughness there are not many programs if you see them tougher.
Always 100:
This is a ” We” type of program from top to bottom and all weekend you have either seen good or greatness from their teams. This whole program is filled with winners that win the right way from their director it is passed down to the program. Always 100 is a program filled with scholarship players that do the little thing’s that coaches want to see. Their coaches do a great job of drawing it up and their players do a phenomenal job of executing a great indication that they are all coachable. Competing and playing hard is the name of the game and this program does it consistently. Women’s basketball coaches from all levels should be following this program simply because they travel in multiples on all grade levels and wherever this program is so are some of the better recruit-able individuals.
Buckeye State Blast:
This “Blast” Program plays hard, they play fast and the most important thing is they play together. The bond and chemistry between this program’s team you can see clearly on the court must be great off the court. For the weekend of the Clash like every weekend, this program is always competitive and they get after it. If my calculations are correct they had a total of 14 teams compete and a high success rate for their teams. Women’s basketball coaches should make themselves known with this program because they compete respectably, they are coachable, they have a purpose larger than themselves and they know how to have fun while taking care of business.
