Friday night was Day One of the PGH Exclusive in Aurora, Illinois, consisting of three hours worth of games. Here are 17U Standouts from the Victory Region from Friday’s games:
<strong>2023 [player_tooltip player_id="295261" first="Rachel" last="Kaus"], 5’10” Forward, Full Package</strong>
Kaus is a versatile Guard/Forward who can play on the perimeter or in the lane with her strength and skill set. Rachel shoots the ball well from deep and the mid-range and uses smooth footwork on the block to create open opportunities for herself at the basket.
<strong>2023 [player_tooltip player_id="295264" first="Chloe" last="Sisco"], 5’6” Guard, Fusion Basketball Academy</strong>
A lethal shooter from beyond the three-point line with ‘in-the-gym’ range, Sisco displayed her scoring ability early and often Friday night. Chloe has a quick release and unwavering confidence in her shot and is also able to break down defenders off the dribble and score in the lane.
<strong>2023 [player_tooltip player_id="335725" first="Olivia" last="Kerndt"], 5’9” Guard, Full Package</strong>
Kerndt is a lengthy and athletic Shooting Guard who made a big impact at both ends of the court. Olivia knocked down jumpers with confidence and caused issues on the defensive end with her ability to read the offense and disrupt passing lanes.
<strong>2023 [player_tooltip player_id="295357" first="Katie" last="Barger"], 5’7” Guard, Fusion Basketball Academy</strong>
A strong Combo Guard who can play on or off ball with her ability to score from the wing, Barger used her toughness to attack the lane and finish through contact at the basket. Katie provides great leadership when she’s on the floor and makes a huge impact on defense with her physical on-ball defense.
<strong>2023 Marley Davis, 5’4” Forward, Fusion Basketball Academy</strong>
Davis is a talented Forward/Guard who showcased her ability to knock down jump shots from beyond the three-point line and make plays with the ball in her hand. Marley is a skilled passer who creates open looks for her teammates and plays excellent defense against a variety of players.
