<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><em>The 2022 Sunshine State Showdown hosted teams in the 17U division all the way down to the 10U division. It was fun to see some of the younger players in 12U division competing hard and having fun. The 13U division welcomed eight teams (Candace Parker Hoop Dreams Elite Team Parker 7th, Candace Parker Hoop Dreams Elite Team Trent 7th, Central Florida Elite 13U, Compound Basketball Team Elite 13U, East Coast United Navy 2027, Inspir8tion Basketball 13U, Jupiter Jaguars 7th, and Orlando Basketball Club 7th. Here are some of the top individual players in the 13U division that stood out with their scoring ability. </em></span>
<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><em> </em></span>
<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Yaneyla Pedraza</strong> (CFE 13U) – Class of 2028</span>
<span style="font-size: 18pt;">Looking for the top performer in the 13U division, look no further than Pedraza who dropped 29 points for the individual high scoring performance of the 2022 Sunshine State Showdown and scored in double digits in all of her team’s games, averaging over 20 points per game!</span>
<span style="font-size: 18pt;">Class of 2027 prospects <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="400812" first="Adriah" last="Mossiah"]</strong> and <strong>Erynn Moffett </strong>(ECU Navy 2027) were the driving force in leading their squad to the 13U Championship. The two of them were the 1st and 2nd leading scorers in all of their teams games and played hard and aggressive not just on the offensive end but got after it on the defensive end. Mossiah 21 Points while vs CFE 13U was one of the top individual performances of the event, almost single handedly leading her team to the win. While Moffett stepped up in the championship game dropping 18 points (including 12 in the 2nd half) to seal the 55-31 win in the 13U Imagine Bracket finals!</span>
<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Eni Oyedeji</strong> (Candace Parker Hoop Dreams Team Trent 7th) – Class of 2027</span>
<span style="font-size: 18pt;">Oyedeji is a name to write down and watch her progression. The young 7th grader was Candace Parker Hoop Dreams Team Trent 7th best player all weekend. She is an athletic, aggressive, young player who has raw talent and a ton of potential!</span>
<span style="font-size: 18pt;"> </span>
<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Gianna Conklin-Jones</strong> (ECU Navy 2027) – Class of 2027</span>
<span style="font-size: 18pt;">Conklin-Jones was fun to watch all weekend as she is a savvy ball handler who is very good in the open court and has multiple combo moves to blow by her defender and get into the paint. Her ballhandling and calm court presence is mature for her age. She has the ability to score the basketball but plays the role of a pass first point guard who feeds teammates for easy baskets and finds opportunities to create her own shot off the dribble and knock down open shots. </span>
