The 2025 rankings have been <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/florida/rankings/2025-rankings/">released.</a>
This is a very good upcoming sophomore class with Westminster Academy's [player_tooltip player_id="243895" first="Lena" last="Girardi"] at the top spot.Ten other prospects in South Florida round out the top 25. The future looks bright near the top in the region.
Once again, you have plenty of high quality players as you move down the list.
Here are some of them...
[player_tooltip player_id="419934" first="Abby" last="Price"] - Westminster Academy (PGH: 50)
[player_tooltip player_id="419934" first="Abby" last="Price"] is right at spot 50 out of Fort Lauderdale Westminster Academy. The 5-foot-10 shooting guard recently performed well at the Apache Memorial Showcase in North Carolina. Price has a good outside and mid-range shot. Add-in her length and you have a great rebounder out of the backcourt. Price is in a good place at Westminster Academy after the Lions won a state title.
[player_tooltip player_id="248693" first="Riley" last="Stoker"] - Western (PGH: 54)
[player_tooltip player_id="248693" first="Riley" last="Stoker"] is a player I can see rising up these rankings in due time. The 6-foot point guard averaged 6.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game this past season. Stoker showed her scoring potential with a 29-point effort against Clearwater (20-7) while shooting 10-of-19 from the field. She also hit five 3-pointers in that contest. With her length, she grabbed six or more boards in eight contests and recorded 55 steals. Stoker has a lot of potential.
[player_tooltip player_id="430264" first="Kaydie" last="Sturm"] - North Broward Prep (PGH: 128)
[player_tooltip player_id="430264" first="Kaydie" last="Sturm"] had a big season for North Broward Prep. The 5-foot-6 guard averaged 17.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.6 steals per game this past season. Overall, Sturm scored in double-figures in 17 of 20 contests. Moreover, she posted a pair of 30-point games against Donna Klein Jewish Academy and Chaminade-Madonna. Sturm has three years of varsity experience which should only help her moving forward.
Lexie Nicolas - North Miami (PGH: 113)
Lexie Nicolas had a good season for a North Miami team that won 15 games. The 5-foot-5 guard averaged 8.5 points, 7.2 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game for the Pioneers. Overall, Nicolas dished out 115 assists to 32 turnovers. That is a pretty good assist-to-turnover ratio at this spot.
[player_tooltip player_id="430271" first="Zoey" last="Matias"] - Westminster Christian (PGH: 108)
[player_tooltip player_id="430271" first="Zoey" last="Matias"] had a good season for the Warriors. The 5-foot-8 shooting guard averaged a team-best 13.2 points and 4.5 steals per game this past season. Moreover, she scored 20 or more points in five contests. On defense, she recorded 77 steals. This is a good spot where she could move up with improvement in her overall shooting efficiency.
