Sunday was another great day of basketball at The Fieldhouse as the final day of the PGH Buckeye Breakdown took place with a lot of talent on the courts. While we had six scouts taking notes and promoting the great players they saw, here are some from today that I happened to either catch in action today, or recommended to me from coaches who saw the action. Again these are only from The Fieldhouse.

It was early this morning when I got to se Nora (pictured left) in action, and she didn’t disappoint. She played with a lot of passion and heart and her gritty demeanor didn’t go unnoticed. She is a fiery guard who can use her speed to get to the rim and penetrate well. Has good handles and is skilled in a lot of aspects of the game. Found out she was the Cardinal Conference Player of the Year this past season, and I can see why,
Sydney Baird, 5-6, OV Lady Dragons 2023 Black
Everyone I talked to about her just raved on her talent, and I was immediately caught up in her talent when I watched her play today. She directed the offense well today from the point guard spot, and truth is, she is more suited for the off-guard position. She can do both well. She has an outstanding perimeter game with good handles. Controls the offense and is a crisp passer. She’s legit. Coaches, check her out! (pictured right)
Kam Barnitz, 5-6, OV Lady Dragons 2025 Red
She is just a natural leader and at such a young age, I expect her game to just continue to grow. From the guard spot, Kam (pictured left) can get by her defender with an excellent first step and gets to the rim. She is a smart guard, not forcing the play, but letting the play come to her. She controls the tempo with excellent handles with both hands. Plays very discipline on-ball defense. Have seen her at various event and have never been disappointed.

Played the 8am game this morning and dropped 23 in their victory. My counterpart Haleigh really liked her game, Hadyn (pictured right) is a player who has a vert smart basketball IQ and can attack the rim with good footwork. She can finish through contact and is a pest on defense, on-ball and off. She runs the floor quick with solid handles. Scored the first 11 points of the game, showed great perimeter presence with two 3’s, plays with a lot of confidence. I expect to see her at events this summer/fall even better!

An aggressive guard who loves to attack the rim and can play downhill well. Runs the floor in transition and has the capability of making the big play for her team. Moves well on the defensive side of the ball, and has good court vision, finding her open teammates for the score. High motor kid. (feature photo above)
