After a successful high school career at Volcano Vista, she will join her teammate [player_tooltip player_id="353693" first="Jaelyn" last="Bates"] on the New Mexico Lobos. [player_tooltip player_id="353694" first="Natalia" last="Chavez"] announced her commitment to UNM last year July 31st, 2021.
[player_tooltip player_id="353683" first="Juliana" last="Aragon"] the 2021-22 New Mexico Gatorade Player of The Year recently made her official commitment to Northern Arizona University. After leading the state in scoring and assists her senior season, she announced her commitment via social media this past April. Northern Arizona will be getting a nice scoring point guard who can also run the offense with her play-making.
Volcano Vista’s two-time state champion [player_tooltip player_id="353693" first="Jaelyn" last="Bates"] will join her longtime teammate [player_tooltip player_id="353694" first="Natalia" last="Chavez"] on the New Mexico Lobos next season. She announced her commitment last year July 1st, 2021. Jaelyn will bring her solid three-point shooting to the team and her leadership to run the offense. She is also a solid defender in the passing lanes.
[player_tooltip player_id="403435" first="Harmanie" last="Dominguez"] one of the top prospects in New Mexico had a solid season averaging over 21 points per game and leading Organ Mountain to the 5A State Tournament. Before the start of the season September 13th 2021, she announced her commitment to Adams State University. Harmanie brings more than just her scoring, she brings an all-around game to this basketball program.
[player_tooltip player_id="353695" first="Lanae" last="Billy"] from Piedra Vista High School, made her announcement on her basketball future before the start of her senior season. On November 29th 2021, she committed to Fort Lewis University. Than during the regular season she averaged about 18 points per game and 6 rebounds per game. She is a versatile player that will help Fort Lewis compete next season.
Highland’s star [player_tooltip player_id="353744" first="Denice" last="Ryan"] officially signed with Arizona Christian University before the start of the season September 30th, 2021. Even after her commitment, she had an excellent senior year for Highland. She was awarded by being named the District Player of the Year and led Highland to the 4A Quarterfinals. Denice is an athletic player that can impact the game without scoring, she brings energy that will help Arizona Christian.
[player_tooltip player_id="353758" first="Rylie" last="Ottmann"] had four amazing years at La Cueva High School and signed with University of Colorado, Colorado Springs back before the season started on September 18th, 2021. Rylie had a great senior year leading La Cueva to the 5A State Semifinals and making the 2021-22 All-Star team. She will brings scoring, play-making, defense and toughness to the University of Colorado.
[player_tooltip player_id="403444" first="Reagan" last="Madonia"] announced on November 7th 2021, she committed to Milwaukee School of Engineering to continue her basketball career. She will definitely help this program right away as a freshman next season with her ability to score and shoot the ball at a high level.
