Friday Night Standouts

Berkley Jones SG 5'10 2027 Eagle/ID (Meta Hoops 17 3SSB)

Arguably one of the best players at the event is from Idaho. She is hyper competitive on defense to rebound and block shots. She scores it every way with post ups, cuts off the ball when she needs to, and then shoots the three with a pure stroke. Her range, quick trigger and setup combined with her size for position makes her the D1 prospect she is.

[player_tooltip player_id='614984' first='Lamaiya' last='Woodberry'] McClintock (Peak 17-Hollerbach Elite)

A scoring guard who will fill up the scoreboard with pull-ups and off the dribble threes with one of the prettier shooting strokes in the class. She will score it in transition and knows how to hesitate and will get downhill with her right hand. She rebounds well in her area and she got hot from deep and made six triples with around 25+ points.

[player_tooltip player_id='751755' first='Bailey' last='Williams'] Highland (VBC 17 S40)

A scoring lead guard who can play on or off the ball. She will score it with layups, rip thru with a nice first step and she manages to get to her spots with her tighter handle. She likes the mid-range pull-up and is great on the break. She is very aggressive on defense and will collect steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='797309' first='Amaya' last='Rodgers'] Queen Creek ([program_tooltip program_id='713967' first='Team' last='Arizona Basketball'] 17)

A very strong wing forward who is an inside and out threat. She will rebound and score it effectively near the basket using her quickness and tight handle to get to her spots. She works well from elbow and in but will step out occasionally to the three. She smartly plays off of two-feet and will rise up and score it. She handles the ball unusually well and takes contact better then most.

[player_tooltip player_id='870683' first='Anna' last='Manning'] Campo Verde (VBC 16 S40)

A bigger wing forward had a nice showing on Friday night. She will score it a variety of ways with offensive rebound put backs, catch threes and utilize a polished floater game. She can get hot in a hurry from the three point line and is extremely confident. She will also defend multiple positions.

[player_tooltip player_id='1227015' first='Gracen' last='Kuykendall'] Artesia/NM (ABC X-Treme 16)

A physical sophomore post player who can play a couple positions up front. She is very tough inside to score thru the contact and was playing with a mask for a possible broken nose and still showed her toughness taking the pounding to score or earning trips to the free throw line.

[player_tooltip player_id='927947' first='Paisy' last='Perkins'] Horizon (Peak 17-Hollerbach Elite)

A taller power forward or center is very effective in space and will rebound and block shots. She can play with her back to the basket to score and likes the mid-range game. She has a quick first step for a forward to get to the basket and she committed to Hawaii Hilo.

Nancy Chang PG 5'6 2029 Sage Hill/CA (Team G 16U P24)

A real point with speed and next level court vision. She will burst into the lane and find a cutter or find teammates easily in stride. The ball get out of her hands so easily and she can burst down the lane with her shift and speed. She was playing up and held her own.
