We released an updated rankings for the class of 2022 two weeks ago. Here are some additional Stock Risers in the class of 2022.

Ionna Garcia Ionna Garcia 5'11" | PF Holy Trinity Episcopal | 2022 State FL (Holy Trinity Episcopal / East Coast United) – 5’11 Wing
New Ranking: 55 Previous Ranking: 83
Ionna Garcia Ionna Garcia 5'11" | PF Holy Trinity Episcopal | 2022 State FL moves up 20+ spots due to her stellar play leading Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy to an excellent season. She was very impressive in the Polk County Hoopfest and the Show N Prove Showcase displaying a high-level skill set with excellent height and length and the versatility to play multiple positions. She reaches double digits in the box score every time we see her and contributes in all facets of the game as a scorer, rebounder, facilitator and defender. She is a good athlete, who plays hard, runs the floor, rebounds at both end of the play, plays unselfish and has a good vertical! She finishes as # 55 in the final rankings for the class of 2022.
Amari Jackson Amari Jackson 6'2" | PF The Rock | 2022 State FL (The Rock / DME Travel) – 6’2 Forward
New Ranking: 63 Previous Ranking: 104
Jackson scored 1,000 points and grabbed 1,000 rebounds as a Junior and has been one of the top players in the SIAA for several years. Her stats and consistently are impressive. She plays hard and aggressive and does a good job in the paint, finishing around the rim and rebounding the ball! She moves up 40 spots to # 62 in the class of 2022.
Samantha Sherer Samantha Sherer 5'7" | PG Fort Walton Beach | 2022 State FL (Fort Walton Beach) – 5’7 Guard
New Ranking: 75 Previous Ranking: 116
Sherer was one of the top players in 6A for Fort Walton Beach helping them to an impressive 17-4 regular season averaging 21.7 points per game. She did all she could to lead Fort Walton Beach, dropping a close one to St. Augustine in the regional playoffs. The 5’7 guard was able to score in every way imaginable this season, making her an almost impossible matchup and a nightmare to opposing coaches and defenses. She moves up 40 spots to # 75 in the class of 2022.
Maddy Boehm Maddy Boehm 5'5" | PG Saint Stephen's Episcopal | 2022 State FL (Saint Stephen’s Episcopal / Tampa Thunder) – 5’5 Guard
New Ranking: 80 Previous Ranking: 118
Boehm and Jamie Springstead Jamie Springstead 5'7" | CG Saint Stephen's Episcopal | 2022 State FL were a two headed monster for Saint Stephen’s Episcopal this season leading them to a 16-8 record. Boehm was the team’s leading scorer, averaging 20 points per game, while also serving as the team’s primary ball handler. She is a crafty and explosive combo guard, who has solid handle, an explosive first step and creative finisher in the paint.
Michel Rivera Michel Rivera 5'6" | SG American Collegiate Academy | 2022 State FL (East Lake / Compound Basketball) – 5’8 Guard
New Ranking: 95 Previous Ranking: 153
Prep Hoops writer Brandon Fisher had Rivera coming off the bench in the “WHAT IF: Pinellas County Starting Five” as she did it all for East Lake this year. Transferring from American Collegiate, Rivera posted an impressive stat line this season averaging 19.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.4 steals. She is not just an offensive juggernaut as she gets after it on the defensive end of the floor and is a high-level communicator and leader. She had multiple 30 point games in the 2021-22 season and scored in double digits 21/22 games.
Elizabeth Schnell Elizabeth Schnell 5'7" | CG Calvary Christian Academy | 2022 State FL (Calvary Christian Academy / GT Queens) – 5’7 Guard
New Ranking: 117 Previous Ranking: 149
Calvary Christian Academy had major success this season and Schnell was a big part of it, helping lead them to the final 4 in Lakeland. Schnell averaged 16.1 points per game while shooting 44 % from the field, knocking down an impressive 82 3-pointers!
Calvary Christian Academy season ended with a hard-fought loss to eventual 4A State Champion Lake Highland Prep where Schnell wrapped up her prep career leading her team in points with 20, knocking down 4 3-pointers in her final game of her career. She is signed and headed to Palm Beach State next season and finished # 117 in the final class rankings for the class of 2022.
Neveah McCoy Neveah McCoy 5'10" | PF Ponce De Leon | 2022 State FL (Ponce De Leon) – 5’10 Forward
New Ranking: 121 Previous Ranking: 163
McCoy was Ponce De Leon go-to player all season leading the team in points (13.2 PPG) and rebounds (7.3 RPG). A 3-year varsity player for Ponce De Leon, McCoy continued to improve her skill and grow her role and contributions with Ponce De Leon, establishing herself as one of the top players in 1A in Florida this season. She moves up 40 spots and finishes # 121 in the final rankings for the class of 2022.
Samantha Hardison Samantha Hardison 5'9" | SG Orange Park | 2022 State FL (Orange Park) – 5’9 Shooting Guard
New Ranking: 139 Previous Ranking: 158
Hardison moves up 20 spots to # 139 overall in the 2022 rankings after an excellent season for Orange Park. Prep Hoops writer Keith Hunter featured her as one of the top players in the First Coast area in the playoffs back in February. She has consistently displayed a well-rounded game on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor, contributing to her team’s success in all areas of the game! She is a big guard, who can score the basketball, rebound the ball, share the basketball and is not afraid of taking on tough matchup assignments on the defensive end and has a knack for getting her hands on the ball.
Cee Cee Bell Cee Cee Bell 5'6" | PG University Christian | 2022 State FL (University Christian / East Coast United) – 5’6 Guard
New Ranking: 151 Previous Ranking: 186
Bell had an excellent spring/travel season for East Coast United last year and followed that up with a big season for University Christian. The 5’6 guard is a high-level athlete, with a quick and explosive first step, and a big time motor! She uses her quickness and athleticism well on both ends of the floor, pressuring the ball, running through passing lanes, and attacking the rim off the dribble! Her athleticism is elite and when she is knocking down open 3s, she is almost impossible to match up against!

This is the fourth and final rankings for the class of 2022. We have taken a look at players performance and potential with both their High School and Travel teams. If there is a player that not included in the rankings or you feel is not ranked properly, please email us at WholeyPrepHoops@gmail.com and include Name, Height, Position, HS, Travel team, any stats available and any video available. Our goal is to cover the entire state, but we are well aware that we have not seen everyone in the state and those that we have seen, we have not seen all of them equally the same amount of time and games.
