These are players that may be getting some college attention but needs more. This list consists of players that have the potential to play beyond high school from outside the state of Arkansas.
Mikaylah Manley | Wing | Lake City Pride 2023 | 2023
Mikaylah had a solid performance in the game I saw her play in and she caught my attention immediately. This University of Louisiana-Monroe commit is a competitive wing player that moves well without the ball and can get open for the catch and shoot 3. If she doesn’t have the space to get her shot off she has the ability to attack closeouts off the catch and get to the rim or make a play for a teammate. She gave good energy and effort on the defensive end. She’s a good on-ball defender that uses her athletic ability well to contain the offense.
Brooklyn King | Forward | DFW Elite 17U EYBL | 2025
I was really impressed with this young lady who competed with the 2023 class as a freshman. The 6’0 forward could make the catch and shoot 3, attack the rim in a straight line off the dribble, and was a beast on the offensive boards. Brooklyn aggressively hunted down rebounds on the offensive end and would score the put-back through contact with her soft touch.
Kendal Robinson | Guard | DFW Elite 17U EYBL | 2024
Kendal did a really good job of running the team. In late-game situations, every team needs a point guard that shows poise and calmness to keep everything together. She communicated with teammates on both the offensive and defensive end of the floor. She attacked off the dribble to get to the rim or make the mid-range pull-up jumper. You also couldn’t leave her open behind the line because she could make the catch and shoot three.
Da’Nae Jefferson | Guard | BTR 2025 | 2025
I got the chance to Da’Nae play in OKC earlier in the spring and she had a solid weekend. But I was looking forward to seeing Da’Nae and her BTR team take on the Mavs Elite 2025 squad. From the beginning Da’Nae made her presence felt. The pace she played with and her ability to get to the rim no matter who was matched up with her was a game-changer. She played through contact, finished in transition, made pull-up jumpers, hit the three-ball and made her free throws. I have to give her the clutch play of the weekend (that I saw) when she hit the game-winning three-pointer as time expired. Check it out HERE.
Jayla Constant | Point Guard | BTR 2025 | 2026
Jayla is a really good point guard. She plays with a high IQ that understands when to push the ball, when to get organized in the half-court, and how to find the hot hand. She works the pick and roll really well. Her patience and vision off the on-ball screen were key in the game I saw her in. She knew when to reject the screen, how to turn the corner and get to the rim, she understood patience coming off the screen and how to deliver on-target passes to the screener rolling or to the shooter spotted up. Good luck staying in front of her when she combines her quick handle with her change of speed. She could also make the jumper and was a good on-ball defender.
Kiara Baptist | Forward | Nebraska Hoops Elite | 2024
If you play for the Nebraska Hoops Elite team you have to be able to play defense. Kiara showed some versatility while on the defensive end of the floor. Being able to make the offense work and defending multiple positions is key for any team to be able to play solid defense. Offensively, Kiara could make the three-pointer or the catch and shoot mid-range jumper. She played her role not trying to do too much, but she played with a lot of energy and effort on both ends of the floor.
