Height, wingspan, improving timing and instincts makes the rising junior a force as a shot blocker and rim deterrent. Along with altering shots by her mere presence, she made a handful of blocks in a couple different ways. From coming helpside to almost never being out of a play even when a driver got a step on her, as Vann’s longs arms allowed her to recover and swat away the shot attempt. Offensively, there were some flashes of face up ability, mixed with her ability to hit the offensive glass. Considering the prestigious, athletic family she’s apart of, it will be no surprise to see this 2025 prospect continue to rise.

When Pendley got established downlow and the defender on her back, it was often an automatic two points. She showed a soft touch around the rim, which also extended to her being able to attack out of face up situations. Which was a mixture of scoring herself, and a great feed to a teammate cutting to the rim off the gravity Pendley’s scoring threat brought. There were a couple times that the southwest Oklahoma standout should’ve been stronger when establishing position, but overall it was a good performance and representation of her abilities.

A quality athlete with the motor to back it up, Young flew all around the court making plays. This was often most apparent with the way she high pointed and snagged rebounds on both ends of the court. But she would also put her body on the line by getting on the floor for loose balls and taking charges. On the offensive end her plus athleticism helped her earn trips to the line, but in this contest her shooting touch was off. Based on this one game small sample size, she’ll need to improve as a scorer to make an impact at the next level. But her obvious athletic traits and tenacity still make a very interesting prospect to track. Especially if the poor shooting game was an outlier from her usual performances.

Escoffery brought her lunch pail to the game with the tone she set as a scrapper around the rim. There’s times she leaned on her strength and positioning to play straight up good defense. While other times she showed good instincts to deflect or outright steal entry passes. Her tough play continued on the offensive end as she worked hard for putbacks. With her combination of strength and fight, she plays bigger than her size.

Anderson continues to look like a game changer as a fast lead guard, who can turn it on in transition. While also having the wiggle and change of direction with the ball in her hands in the halfcourt to be a consistent slashing threat. Along with the threat she represents on drives as a scorer, she showed her full court awareness often. Including a drive where she collapsed the defense, stopped and kicked it out to a teammate for an open three.

The prospect from Stillwater first caught the eye for her combination of height, plus athleticism and willingness to do the dirt work around the rim. She used her natural abilities to block shots, crash the glass and in general get her nose dirty as a scrappy player. Moore still looked a bit raw offensively, but the drive and natural traits she has makes her an interesting prospect with an untapped ceiling.

From flying around the court with her great athleticism. To establishing herself as a good passer out the high post, Moore checked a lot of boxes for Team Griffin in a win. Especially with her defensive upside as a forward who can switch out onto guards or battle down low. Offensively, a lot of her contributions came via unselfish play, including her good high-low chemistry she had with her squad’s post player. But to close out the game she did finish more efficiently as a scorer, including a tough fadeway make.
