Arlisha Boston Arlisha Boston 5'9" | SG Kings Fork HS | 2023 State VA -2023-DSG
Ms. Boston was outstanding handling the ball against pressure, maintaining her composure and making good decisions out of the trap. She knows when to pass and attack the lane. She has good size and length at the combo guard position, able to see over the top of double teams and made several long one handed passes to teammates in scoring position against the press. She attacks the paint hard, slithering through the defense where she finishes through contact of draws a foul.
Mary Bolesky-2024-Central PA Elite
Small in size, big heart and above average IQ. Smooth lefty who moves well without the ball. Several times she passed into the post and relocated for open shot or drive to the basket. She has a nice stroke from the 3pt line and was able to finish over taller defenders utilizing ball fakes and aggressive first step to get into the lane.
Janay Rissmiller-2024-Central PA Elite
Janay plays hard every minute she is on the court. She has a nice low defensive stance, keeps her feet moving and applies constant ball pressure. She is active and had good instincts, getting steals off the ball. Offensively, she was adept at getting into the paint where she finished consistently with either hand. She moves well without the ball, making her difficult to guard.
Isabella Bianco-2023-WPA Bruins
Nice size on the wing, who can handle the ball and run an offense. Isabella is long and active on the defensive end, creating lots of deflections and turnovers. She did a nice job scoring within the flow of the offense, good passer who looked to get the ball to teammates in scoring position. She makes the simple plays, good fundamentals and efficient.
Zoe Kashner-2023-K-Low Elite
Tough, physical post. Had a difficult match-up against a 6’4 player but did not back down and used her physicality to overcome the height disadvantage. She was invaluable to her team making kick out passes to shooters on the wing. She did a nice job finding her scorers from the post and high post area. She hustled for rebounds and loose balls and sacrificed her body in the paint.
Shakyla Mayo-2023-K-Low Elite
Shooter!!!! Shakyla was money from the 3pt line on Sunday, she was the player that teams needed to know where she was at all times, yet somehow found a way to get herself open on the 3pt line where she rarely missed. Did a nice job handling the ball against pressure and when she didn’t have a shot, she moved the ball quickly to open teammates.
MacKenzie Swayne-2023- Cap City Ballerz
MacKenzie is a physical, tough wing who can score inside or out. She bangs in the post defensively, snags rebounds and can push the ball on the fast break. I have watched her transition her game from the post to the wing over the past few years. Her ball handling and passing ability has improved and she is fast/quicker each time I see her. She is able to finish through contact with either hand and can get to the basket off the bounce.
