Sarah Strong (6’2|PF/C|2024)
AAU Team: Lady Strong 2024

I did not see Sarah until day 3 of #PGHPeachGames, but this talent was worth the wait. I was thoroughly impressed with Sarah as she put on a show for the ages. She has size and is agile and mobile. She carries the bulk of the scoring load for her squad, and she had no problem carrying the load. She showed that she can score at all levels and with great variety. Her scoring prowess was unmatched in the 2024 division, and it is safe to say that she was the best player in the entire division and would be in the discussion of one of the best players that was at the tournament across all divisions. What was surprising after speaking to a few coaches who were matched up against her and made her the focus of their defensive strategy was her ability to score the rock while being the defense’s primary focus every game.
She showed her ability to handle the rock in transition while leading the break, making good decisions with accurate passes.
I could go on for quite some time talking about how much potential Sarah showed throughout the weekend, but this will not be the last time you will hear her name. Before I end this eval, I cannot omit her presence on the defensive end of the court as she understands where to be positionally, how to defend on-ball, and is highly vocal. I often see talent like Sarah slack off on one side of the floor, namely the defensive side, but that is not the case with Sarah, as she brought a complete game on both ends. What is shocking to me is what you see below under ’offers.’ I just don’t understand. If you have answers to this…hit me up, or I am just going to take it as she did not list them on the questionnaire. In the match-up against Woods Elite 2024, she finished with 19pts (2-3’s).

Yasmene Clark (6’0/SF/2023)
AAU Team: A’Ja Wilson Elite 2023

One of the most dominant players the entire weekend was Yasmine. I loved her posture to the game as she was silent in her approach on the court, but she was giving opponents the business. She played with a high motor and demonstrated her ability to score without having to be ball dominant. She ran the floor hard and got easy buckets. She hit the offensive glass and got put-backs.
She moved well without the ball and was the recipient of on-time passes that she was able to convert into easy scores.
When it came to creating scoring opportunities with the ball in her hands, she was able to do so off of paint touches and an arsenal of finishing moves. She is on a squad that is loaded with talent, and even though she does not have to be the first or second option, make no mistake about it, she has the capacity to shoulder the responsibility of being the primary producer and playmaker. She is a blue-collar worker on defense and can guard multiple positions. In the 61-58 win against Tennessee Sol, she poured in a team-high 21pts.
Offers: Colgate, North Greenville
Caroline Elaine Mullins (5’9/PG/2024)
AAU Team: Wood Elite 2023

I have put ink on Caroline before, but that was from a camp setting. It was good to see her with her spring/summer squad as she had a solid performance against Lady Strong, even though everything about that game was overshadowed by the opponent’s Sarah Strong. However, Caroline did not take a back seat and showed why she is a name that many recognize in the south in girls basketball. She is a high-level facilitator with a good IQ and impressive PG skills.
For her team, she is indispensable as it is safe to say that as Caroline goes, so goes her team.
She is highly efficient and productive with the ball in her hands and was responsible for most of her team’s points either by scoring herself or by the accumulation of her assists. She can definitely play at the next level with the right program, and it is only a matter of time before a program takes a chance.

Cornelia Ellington (5’6/CG/2025)
AAU Team: Team Nite Nite 2023
Instagram: cee1way
Twitter: @corneliaellington
Cornelia showed her ability to play on and off the ball and get it done at either position. She was one of the top playmakers in the 2023 division and was impressive along the way, becoming one of the Top Performers on day 3. She was at her best when she was out in transition, as she was getting out and putting pressure on the rim and scoring in bunches. What allowed her to get out in transition so often was her active hands-on defense.
She was a force with her on-ball D, and she played the passing lanes well, often stepping in a passing lane and getting the steal.
For any ball-handler playing against Cornelia, she must be aware of her at all times because, in a blink of the eye, Cornelia can be headed back to the other end of the court after forcing a turnover. Cornelia’s dominance in transition defined her game throughout the weekend, but she has a loaded toolkit with many tools to work with. In a 43-36 win against Lady Grinders 2023, she had a game-high 14pts. Oh, by the way, before I forget, she is only a FRESHMAN!
Offers: Player did not list anything.
J’Adore Young (6’4 |PF/C|2023)
AAU Team: A’ja Wilson Elite 2023
Instagram: twizzyja
Twitter: JAdoreYoung_1
Another one of the talented players on the A’ja Wilson Elite 2023 squad was J’adore. Now, as a student of the beautiful French language, J’adore means I love/I like, and let me just say I loved J’adore’s game. She was a dominant factor in the paint and was tough for many opposing teams to match up with down low.
Simply put, at any moment, off the low-block, she can back down and bully her way to buckets, which she did at times.
With her size, she literally stuffed the stat sheets with blocks, altered shots, and rebounds. Offensively, J’adore has some tools she can add to the toolbox that will skyrocket her threat level as a scorer. She also has room to continue to improve her agility and mobility. As you can see below, she has several schools seeking her talents when it comes time for her to transition to the collegiate level. This list will continue to grow because she is a talent that is laced with potential and can be a solid post presence at the next level. She was a walking double-double throughout the entire weekend.

The Two Best From Behind The Arc:
The following two Top Performers were the best I saw in the 2023 division from behind the arc. Introducing Samira and Sharon.
Samira Khalil (5’9/SG/2024)
AAU Team: A’ja Wilson Elite 2023
Instagram: N/A
Twitter: @SamiraSwish
Samira has good positional size at the off-guard spot, and she is the anchor that keeps everything going for her squad. When the game got hectic, she demonstrated poise and settled her team down. When her team needed a basket, she provided or created scoring opportunities for others off the bounce. When they needed execution, she had the ball in her hands. She has a great IQ and plays under control for the most part.
Her elevation on her pull-up trey was impressive, and the quickness of her release in c&s opportunities is just as impressive.
She showed effortless range and must be accounted for when she steps across half-court. Her best performance from behind the arc came in the 55-52 win against FBC Hoopstarz when she had a game-high 21pts, with 5 treys. Programs needing a guard that can stroke it from deep…here you go!
Offers: Francis Marion & North Greenville
Sharon Tolliver (5’7/SG/2023)
AAU Team: Huncho Next-Gen 2023
Instagram: sharon.tolliver
Twitter: @sharontolliver0
Sharon was absolutely outstanding shooting the ball from behind the arc. In the game against Carolina Elite, she came out and made 5 threes in the first half, and everyone watching wondered when someone was going to guard her. She showed that she was an offensive assassin, particularly a three-point specialist. She is surrounded with talent and is often the beneficiary of a drive and kick from a teammate when the defense is collapsing off her trying to stop dribble penetration.
When defenses made adjustments, she took advantage of their overeagerness to take away the trey by getting inside the arc for a midrange or getting to the cup.
Offers: She currently holds no offers.
