Day 1 Shootout Stars To See

The Northville, Novi, Canton, Plymouth, Salem Shootout is a long named the vent with a long list of quality teams and prospects. The event will run June 8th and June 9th at various gyms, all close in proximity (including Northville, Novi, Plymouth, and Salem). Let’s take a look at some of the top notch prospects to see on day 1 of the shootout. <strong>Tia Bosma (2024, CG, Fordson)</strong> Bosma is a perimeter player that Fordson can be very excited about. She’s a plus passer and an efficient shooter and scorer. Bosma has shown some very high level flashes and could be dangerous this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="336023" first="Nour" last="Beydoun"] (2025, F/C, Crestwood)</strong> I’m very high on Beydoun’s upside as a player. She’s a powerful athlete who usually has an instant strength advantage. Beydoun is ahead of the curve when it comes to defense and rebounding. <b>Sally Hammoud (2023, C, Dearborn)</b> Hammoud is a tough defender in the paint. She was solid protecting the rim last season. Hammoud plays vertical defense and challenges shooters. <strong>Anna Lindsey (2024, CG, Novi)</strong> Lindsey looks to line up as an impact player this year. She was impressive as a sophomore with her ability to score the ball and even hit some big shots in big moments. She’ll be a player to keep an eye on this season. <strong>Meghan McCarthy (2023, SG, Plymouth)</strong> McCarthy will have the opportunity to really increase her scoring this season. She has a nice catch and shoot jumper and will be depended on as a leader on and the floor. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="365000" first="Madison" last="Morson"] (2024, SG, Salem)</strong> Morson is coming off a huge grassroots seaso where she sent a message statewide on the PGH Circuit. Morson is an athletic 3 level scorer. She has the ability to create space off the bounce. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="417918" first="Amiya" last="Sanders"] (2024, SG, Summit Academy)</strong> Sanders could be on the verge of a statement season. She’s a quality scoring threat of the ball for her Summit Academy squad. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="244273" first="Mckenzie" last="Swanson"] (2024, PF, Marian)</strong> Swanson is a premier player and a big time talent. She has one of the most polished post games in the state and is skilled enough to score from multiple spots on the floor. Swanson will be a double-double threat in points and rebounds every single night. <strong>Evgenija Tanaskoska (2023, PG, Northville)</strong> This underrated perimeter player is ready for a big senior season. She was a Detroit Free Press All Metro West 2nd Team selection at the end of last season. Tanaskoska is smart with the ball and can play off contact. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="280221" first="Rachel" last="Williams"] (2023, PF, Canton)</strong> Williams is vastly underrated as a prospect. She can match up defensively with the best post players in the state. Her strength and physicality is top notch.
