is an impressive athlete who has transformed Salem into a KLAA powerhouse the past two years. Against one of the SVL’s best teams, she made plays for the Rocks that led them to victory at the Holiday Classic. Madison swished a step back wing 3, split multiple defenders to score at the rim, and created transition baskets by deflecting passes on and off the ball. Madison has the vertical leap to jump over the top of defenders for offensive rebounds and has one of the fastest closeouts you’ll see on perimeter shots: she will be in the discussion for Miss Basketball at the end of this season.

is one of the most athletic and exciting prospects to watch in the state. She was apart of the exclusive BCAM’S Best All-State team in 2022 and is committed to Central Michigan University. Her dominance on the court helped lead the Rock’s to a KLAA West division title, conference championship, and semi-final appearance. Madison has the explosiveness to split double teams and finish with either hand at the rim; she is special. Her quickness and vertical ability is outstanding. Madison will be a Miss Basketball candidate this season and a headliner for the KLAA West.

The Central Michigan commit led her team to the Breslin last season, where they fell to West Bloomfield in the Semis. She is a smooth guard that was 1st-Team All-State for the Associated Press last season. Morson is another player I think will be considered for Miss Basketball if she continues to put up the big numbers she has in the past.

Morson’s performance at the 2K23 was nothing short of special. She was name to the 17u First Team All-Tournament squad. Morson might have been the most athletically fluid player in the gym. She picked her spots and attacked the defense, effectively using angles to get to her spots.

The pure athleticism alone was more than any guard can handle.. but she’s on those rare players who have been able to find the balance of both athleticism and skill. Her pull-up are fluid, her body control on attacking the rim is strong, and her defensive awareness to cover space and block shots before they reach their peak.. is something that is worth noting. Her demeanor was what capped it off. Never to high, never to low. Great teammate. She’s a special talent with a big future.

Morson is a D1 talent through and through for Rickea Jackson Elite Anarchy 2024. She’s a fiery competitor with a top notch mid range game and creator off the bounce. Morson adds much more than just a skill set. She’s a leader on the court that has the ability to lift a team when they need it. I saw her spark a run deep in the state playoffs that helped her team advance.
