Arissa Garcia (SAHE Gold JK) 2023
Garcia does a great job creating her shot to either drop the jumper or score off the dribble, yet the jumper also looked good in transition as she showed the pull-up numerous times. She handled the ball in the open court under pressure, she also saw the floor and made the right passes
Iyanna Billups (Competitive Edge) 2024
Billups continues to elevate her game and when you are one of those baseline to baseline “never takes a play off” type of player, #sizedontmatter and she continues to show that. She understands how to control the tempo as well as distribute the ball yet her outside shooting and scoring off the dribble continue to keep the defender guessing
Reese Hoadley Reese Hoadley 5'7" | CG Georgetown | 2025 State TX (Competitive Edge) 2025
Hoadley smoothly sets the defender up to either attack or just drop the jumper with a hand in her face and her deceptive first step plays a huge part in it. I love seeing players “play within themselves” and her mindset is always to get the best shot, either from herself or seeing the floor and hitting teammates but her “on the ball” defense continues to get better
Miranda Garcia (Lady Pro Skills SATX) 2025
Garcia is a prototype point guard that directs her teammates to where they need to be and sets them up for open looks and gimmes but her “threading the needle” on passes in transition always grabs me as she sees the floor very well in the open court. Don’t get it twisted, the mid to long-range opens things up for her teammates as well
Jerriyah Baines Jerriyah Baines 5'10" | SF Killeen | 2025 State TX (Lady Pro Skills SATX) 2025
Baines is so smooth and scores powerfully off the dribble as well as around the basket yet her strength also shows on her rebounding and putbacks, after the lick and yes, she goes after everything off the rim on both ends but as powerful as she is, she also can score with finesse and her soft touch facing the basket around the basket along with her midrange jumper continues to dd to what she brings to the table
Naya Burleson Naya Burleson 5'11" | PF Buda Hays | 2025 State TX (Stat Pro) 2025
Burleson has a FACTORY of skills COATED with ways to put the ball in the basket. Yes, she attacks well from the wing, she’s long and athletic and her strides get her to the rim with ease and she’s strong, finishes after contact quite well yet peep this, she plays the passing lane and anyone that reads and comprehends what I write understands I love that, as well as her upside
Chloe Donnel (SAHE Gold 2025)
Donnell gave me a scare after a hard lick on Saturday yet surprisingly she came back on Sunday with a vengeance. When I’m in Vegas, I bet on RED, when I watch Donnell, I bet on REDHEAD because she can DELIVER in clutch situations, with her mid to long-range yet she also does a good job scoring “in the flow”
