Taejhuan Hill Taejhuan Hill 5'11" | C Volcano Vista | 2024 State NM is one of the top bigs in the State of New Mexico, point blank period. Hill has great size and is a true paint beast and interior force. Not many can compete with Hill down on the Block on either end of the court; Hill is a reliable double digit scorer, great rebounder and capable shot blocker. Hill shines on the offensive glass with her ability to create 2nd chance points, securing putbacks often.
Bella Hines Bella Hines 5'10" | CG Eldorado | 2025 State NM – Eldorado HS, Class of 2025
Bella Hines Bella Hines 5'10" | CG Eldorado | 2025 State NM is a scoring machine who continues to solidify herself as the top offensive threat in the State – Bella is a true 3-Level scorer, who is deadly behind the arc, comfortable operating the mid range and can finish at the rim with either hand (reverse layups, floaters) – Pick your poison with Hines, if you play drop coverage, she will let it fly from deep, if you blitz her and double team she will split it and get to the mid range or break ankles and get to the cup. Keep in mind, Hines’ averaged over 20.0 ppg as a Freshman.. that number should and will go up for her Sophomore season.
Tara McDonald – Los Alamos HS, Class of 2023
Tara McDonald is an intriguing Forward for the Hill Toppers. Tara is a terrific screener that sets hard screens at the top of the key where she and her guards operate the pick’n’roll very well. McDonald can pick’n’pop or roll the the cup for easy buckets. McDonald had multiple finishes inside 6 feet and will utilize a baby hook. Tara plays with good energy and competes for rebounds on both ends of the floor.
Daliyah Morris – Gallup HS, Class of 2023
Daliyah Morris is an athletic wing with a very quick first step. Morris really impressed over the weekend with her ability to play big, Morris stands no taller than 5’7” or 5’8” and operates the 4spot or Power Forward for Gallup. Daliyah has great handles, and is very unselfish; there was several instances where Daliyah grabbed the weak side rebound, bolted up court and dropped off the ball for easy layups to teammates – One of which she delivered a sweet “no look” pass that froze the paint defender on the break.
Mariana Sepulveda – Carlsbad HS, Class of 2023
Mariana Sepulveda is a 2-way Playmaker for Carlsbad HS that can play multiple positions thanks to her ability to handle the ball, pass, defend and get a bucket. Mariana operates the pick’n’roll well and can create for herself and for her teammates; She can deliver passes to the rolling big, she can turn the corner and get to the basket or simply pull up in the midrange and sink the jumper.
