South Charleston, WV's own Kadyn Dooley is a prodigy and one of the most skilled 5th graders in the country. Dooley has exceptional ball handling ability, she has several crossover moves that she uses to break down the defender to either finish with a layup at the rim or hit the dribble pull jumper. Dooley is a pure point guard with great court vision she always has her head up in transition. Her play at the Midwest Spotlight did not go unnoticed she was awarded 5th grade MVP for her stellar performance.

The state of Tennessee has a track record for producing some of the best girls basketball players. Mayani Owens is a prime examples of that. Owens already has great length and size for her age. I was in awe watching her play at the Midwest Spotlight Camp, her knowledge for the game at such a young age is impressive. Owens has a solid all around game she can rebound, defend, block shots, and create scoring opportunities for herself and teammates. Owens is a playmaker and a high level scorer that can put up a lot of points if you do not shut her down early.

Elle Miller is one of the best 4th graders coming out of Indiana. Miller came to Kentucky and showed that Naptown has some elite talent in the city. Miller is a lethal mid range and three point shooter. She has such a fluid shooting form it's like poetry in motion. Miller has a very quick release and she can stop on a dime for a pull up jumper making it hard for any defender to get a hand in her face.
