Kirsten Lewis-Williams Kirsten Lewis-Williams 5’10” | CG Lake Norman | 2023 State NC consistently does it all for her team. As a rising senior, she is certainly gearing up to be a leader for her Lake Norman team as she has been doing it for years. She handles the ball with ease facilitating plays and finding her open teammates. She can shoot from anywhere creating her own space between her and her defender. She’ll even crash the boards sometimes being the leading rebounder for her team knowing how to extend plays herself or be anxious to gain the possession and push it up the court to the other end.

Tatum Bowen Tatum Bowen 5’9″ | SF 1 Of 1 Prep Academy | 2023 State NC shows me a new strength every time I get to see her play it seems. She can definitely shoot from deep, and she knows how to step up controlling the ball when her team needs her to run point. She makes great passes up the court to her teammates, and she can certainly find them underneath the basket posting up. She’s aggressive when it comes to going after rebounds even using her leg strength to get over the back calls in her favor.

Sydney Gueterman Sydney Gueterman 5’11” | SF 1 Of 1 Prep Academy | 2023 State NC has really been working on expanding the floor these past couple of seasons that she has played between her competitions with 1 of 1 Prep and Lady Attack Elite this summer. She has been dominant in the paint blocking shots, using post moves to score, and grabbing rebounds. This past year, though, she has been showing off her jump shot from all over the court including behind the three point line. This versatility has definitely gotten her noticed by college coaches.
Cheyla Scott Cheyla Scott 5’11” | PF Butler | 2023 State NC is a multi sport athlete who uses her speed and athleticism in all areas of the basketball court. She uses her high jump skills from track and field competitions to go up high for rebounds and blocking shots. She also elevates over her opponents to score her points making it difficult for anyone to truly close out on her. Her release on a fast break is difficult for anyone to stop, and she can chase any loose ball winning the battle every time. She’s an excellent ball handler herself knowing how to maneuver around her defenders.
Ella Hobbs Ella Hobbs 6’4″ | SF Jay M. Robinson | 2024 State NC (featured photo) is used to getting national attention. Things just seem to come so easily for her on the court, and this is definitely not because defenders go easy on her. Even while she is battling in the paint, she knows how to maneuver her body to protect the possession and score some points. She is a threat all over the court showing off her ability to score on all levels. Boxing her out is a feat that no one wants to do as it seems to be impossible with the way she can rack up rebounds. She runs the floor well exploding to the basket and being ready for a pass on a fast break.
Jerin Truesdale Jerin Truesdale 5’9″ | SF Myers Park | 2024 State NC has the ability to take over games no matter which of her teams she is playing for and who her opponent is. She can grab rebounds with ease battling on the block, and she knows how to take these boards coast to coast scoring on fast breaks herself. She powers through her opponents with ease on her way to some points using her strength and ball handling to around her defenders.
Raven LeXander Raven LeXander 6’0″ | SF Myers Park | 2024 State NC ‘s length is certainly an asset on the court whether she is going up for rebounds, blocking shots, or deflecting passes on defense. Her height allows her to play anywhere on the court showing some nice moves to score from the block and being able to step outside the three point line to show off her shot. She’ll be taking her talents to Myers Park this year already having experience from winning a state championship with Concord Academy.
