Kirsten Lewis-Williams Kirsten Lewis-Williams 5'10" | CG Lake Norman | 2023 State NC has been a leader for her Lake Norman team often taking over games to make sure the Wildcats come out with a victory.  She has a way of attacking the basket that is difficult to defend, and her spin move on her drives to the hoop are quicker than her opponents.  She doesn’t shy away from battling on the block, and she consistently does everything her team needs her to do leading to double-doubles and sometimes more when looking at her stats.

Still unsigned, the lack of recruitment for Kirsten appears to be somewhat of an anomaly. Despite getting into some foul trouble which shortened her minutes,  Kirsten still finished with an impressive 16 points and 12 rebounds. She is simply a walking double-double.  She did a great job primarily handling PG duties during the  course of the game which shows she can lead an offense. She was able to get inside for some strong rebounds and score in the paint against much bigger defenders. She was also able to draw fouls as she attacked the paint, getting to the free throw line where she knocked down 8-10 from the charity stripe. Through her career at Lake Norman, she has been able to play multiple roles and and has flawlessly adjusted to whatever role she was given. There will be a large number of college coaches that will regret not taking the chance on her.

It is hard to stand out on a loaded team but Kirsten’s abilities on the floor are limitless. Having the unique ability to play all 5 positions on the floor makes her matchup nightmare for opponents. She can be your shot blocker, rebounder, ball-handler, penetrator, distributor or your shooter all in the same sequence. The senior has been leaving everything she has on the floor every single night of the season and we expect more of the same in her final game in a Lake Norman uniform.

Kirsten Lewis-Williams Kirsten Lewis-Williams 5'10" | CG Lake Norman | 2023 State NC attacked the basket making some old fashioned three point plays to begin the scoring for the Wildcats.  She had back to back three point plays bringing her team right back into the game.  She had a nice block in the paint grabbing the steal and taking it all the way herself with a nice finish at the rim.  She finds her open teammates cutting up the court on fast breaks for their points.  She reads the floor so well knowing when to take it all the way or pull up for her shot.

Kirsten Lewis-Williams Kirsten Lewis-Williams 5'10" | CG Lake Norman | 2023 State NC continues to be a cheat code for her team.  Even though I am sure that teams know that she will do her signature spin move to get some points, she still remains unstoppable getting to the basket to put up her shot.  She showed off her athleticism hustling back on defense grabbing a nice block in transition.  She’s so tough driving to the basket embracing contact and going up for her shot.  No matter how close the game is, she continues to execute the things that she excels at.

Kirsten Lewis-Williams may have her eyes set on the state championship, but I am looking forward to when she does get the quadruple-double that she keeps getting so close to achieving.  This shows how important she is for her team scoring on all levels, getting inside for rebounds, pushing the ball up the court finding her open teammates, and grabbing steals on the defensive side of the ball.  She continues to show how she can block shots making sure her opponents don’t get any easy buckets.  She’s incredibly versatile on the court for the Wildcats being able to run the point guard position, and she can also get inside the paint for some touches and points.  Her Wildcat team will be hosting Mallard Creek for a big time matchup on Thursday.

Kirsten Lewis-Williams has been on a tear this season leading her Lake Norman team to a 23-0 start.  She has been so versatile on the court for the Wildcats serving as the point guard bringing the ball up to getting on the block posting up for some points.  She uses her length to jump into passing lanes grabbing steals, and she pushes the ball right up the court finishing on her own at the rim or finding her open teammate for their own points.  She pulls up for midrange jumpers and can knock down shots around the perimeter showing her ability to score on all three levels.

Lewis Williams has good size at 5’11”. She has good ball handling ability and uses it to get to the basket. When she does get to the basket she is an excellent finisher around the basket.  She is also a good passer with a good feel for the game. She never seems to play to fast and she can make a variety of passes. She is active defensively.

Kirsten Lewis-William continues to show her ability to get to the hoop making some nice fakes running full speed to create separation and put the ball through the hoop.  She does a nice job directing her teammates on where to go.  She doesn’t shy away from contact at the rim.  She does everything for her team even getting inside to grab rebounds no matter who is around.  She can even post up on the block sealing off opponents for an entry pass and bucket.  Her spin move in transition is certainly fun to watch.

Kirsten Lewis-Williams Kirsten Lewis-Williams 5'10" | CG Lake Norman | 2023 State NC continues to show her ability to dominate on both ends finding ways to maneuver to the hoop and score.  She did a nice job sliding into position on defense to get the charge called and grabbed steals to push the other direction. She was an important part of Lake Norman’s trap defense at half court.
