These are freshman Gamechangers who should make an impact!
Evelyn displayed good range with her perimeter game and as a point guard, she has a lot of positive tools already in her arsenal. She has good handles and is active on the defensive side of the ball, able t force turnovers. She can explode past the defender to the rim and finish.

Reyna was impressive with the way she could handle the basketball and was able to push transition to benefit her team. She knows where she needs to be on the floor and moves well without the ball. She can distribute the ball well on the move and showed a good shiftiness as a floor leader. She also has a good perimeter game with range.

Molly Stedman
Molly Stedman
Molly does a good job as a versatile point guard with a good ability to either get to the rim on a drive into the paint, or she will let it fly from deep range and can score from behind the arc. She also possesses good handles and switches hands well. Can play good on-ball defense and contiues to improve her game. Good work ethic from what I saw.
Lauren is another solid point guard who is coming into her own. As she heads into her first season of high school basketball, she brings an aggressive style of play where she is solid on the boards and gets after the ball. She has good eyes, really connects well with her passes. Heading to a solid program at St. Mary’s after a summer with the Dayton Lady Hoopstars.

Addy stood out to me as someone who has a good ability to score from the perimeter and she isn’t shy about being involved in the offense. She is a shooter and connected a couple of times from behind the arc. She also was steady on her other perimeter shots. She showed a good work ethic and played with energy. Looking to see her progress over the next couple of years.
Has excellent height for a point guard, allowing her to be a bigger threat in the offense. She has good footwork in the paint and excellent court vision. Can drive and score or has a good ability to kickout for a better shot in the offense. Defensively she uses her height well and plays for a very talented West Virginia Thunder program in the summer. She will be prepared for the next step into high school.

I am looking forward to seeing her again next month in Dayton, but what I saw in this event was a player who can play physical and through contact with her strength. Good defender, uses her physicality well to her advantage. Like every freshman we are talking about, they are just scratching the surface of their game, look for this one to continue to improve.
