Kenndy had one of the most impressive performances at the showcase, as she was highly productive throughout the day. She has length and positional size at her position for her age. She handled the ball well, especially in the open court, where she found herself often after securing the defensive board and starting the break. When in the open court, she demonstrated good vision and passing ability to hit teammates on the run and those spotting up behind the arc in the corner. She showed a lot of versatility on both ends of the court, but defensively you saw the match-up problems that she caused with her length. During the times that I saw her compete, there was one thing I did not see, which was her ability to knock down the trey ball. Now she may be able to knock it down consistently, but I did not see it while watching her. If she can expand her game beyond the arc and continue to hone her game off the bounce, her service is going to be in high demand in a few years.

Sydney Glahn (5’6/SF)
School: Mount Pisgah Christian School

Sydney is a smaller wing player that is extremely heady with the ball in her hands. Time and time again, she demonstrated her decision-making skills and her ability to make the right reads. She was aggressive off the bounce and finished well at the rim. Her ability to knock down the trey ball kept defenders honest, making her isolation game much harder to defend. She functioned as a triple-threat player that could contribute as a shooter, passer, and driver. Her ability to score the rock at all levels was, without a doubt, the strength of her game. She showed that she is a willing defender and applied a lot of on-ball pressure making it uncomfortable for ball-handlers. Her impressive play at the showcase makes her a player whose name we will remember and whom we will be tracking over the next few years.

Andrea Guilford (5’9/PG)
School: New Manchester

Andrea has nice size at the PG spot, along with some intangibles that makes her an attractive prospect for collegiate coaches to put their eyes on early. Hands down, she is a score-first PG that put her ability to score on full display. She had it all going as she was knocking down the mid-range jumper as well as other various ways. She kept defenders on skates as she showed quick and sudden bursts of speed and a fantastic ability to change speed and direction. She was one of the best at creating her own shot, but she also showed her ability to be a playmaker for her teammates. Her confidence on the offensive end of the floor exuded every time she touched the rock, as she played with the attitude that no one at the showcase could guard her, and at times she made it look that very way. She has a lot of offensive tools in her toolbox and will only continue to get more difficult to contain and stop when the ball is in her hands.

Deyla McCoy (5’5/PG)
School: Fayette County HS
Instagram: N/A
Twitter: N/A
Deyla came to the showcase and spent most of her time living in the paint. Her ability to blow by her defender was the direct result of one of the quickest first steps I saw from any guard throughout the day. As I watched her time and time again get to the paint and collapse the D, she was just too good on the offensive end in one-on-one situations. Her pressure on the middle kept the opponents’ defenses scrambling, and in a showcase where there were no defensive schemes, she was putting in work all day, leaving defenders with no answers to how to slow her down. She has a game that draws fouls and often finds herself at the line. She brings a dynamic at the PG spot, giving a coach a lot of ways to use her in the flow of the offense. Whether you want to get out and run or you want to run some sets, Deyla can be trusted to make it happen.

Morghan Slater (5’7/SG)
School: Woodstock HS

Morghan was one of the bigger guards at the showcase and was able to put the ball on the floor and create for herself and her teammates. She was at her best when she was out in transition and operating in space. She is a scorer that converted difficult shots as well as easy ones. She has excellent burst off the bounce that led to her straight-line speed, and her speed is what often allowed her to win her one on one match-ups. I did not see much during my time watching Morghan from the perimeter, but that is not to say that she cannot produce from beyond the arc. She took what the defense gave her, and with her speed, she created scoring opportunities that the defense could not stop no matter how hard they tried to defend her.

Ellison Steinhauer (5’5/PG)
School: Pickens HS
Instagram: N/A
Twitter: @Esteinhauer2026
Ellison found her footing when she was able to get out in transition and push the rock. She has solid handles, can get by her defenders, and finishes nicely in the paint, where she is able to capitalize on various runners and floaters. She is a crafty guard that likes to play uptempo but does so under control. She has good vision and sees things developing before it is actually manifested. She was often a step ahead of defenders, leaving them trying to guess her next move and ways to try and stop her. Ellison does a lot of things well on the court and is a reliable player to have at the PG spot. She showed a lot of promise and could develop into an attractive prospect over the next few years.
