Gabby Wilke Gabby Wilke 6'1" | PF Beaver Dam | 2024 State WI
Wilke is one of the most versatile fours in Wisconsin. She can score with her back to the basket or step outside and knock down jump shots. The rising junior was the only unanimous first-team all-conference selection in the Badger-East, and it’s easy to understand why. She can score from anywhere, rebound at an elite level, make good decisions with the ball, and fit in almost any scheme. I see no reason she won’t continue to succeed in the conference as the Golden Beavers look to make a run to the Resch Center.
Drew Hinrichs
When I think about Drew Hinrichs, I’ll remember the dominant 34-point performance on the road against Waunakee. That game was crucial in deciding who would make the conference title game, and the then-sophomore scored 34 of her team’s 55 points in an overtime win. She’s a legit 5-foot-11 wing who can make shots in bunches. She’ll lead a relatively young Goslings group who can make some noise in the conference this season.
Rylan Oberg Rylan Oberg 5'7" | CG DeForest | 2024 State WI
The DeForest guard has so much length, even standing at 5-foot-7, I don’t think many defenders will contest her shot. Watching her shoot after her initial defender goes under ball screens is hilarious because that shot becomes a practice jump shot. Oberg also excels in transition because of how creative she is. When Oberg is one-on-one on fast breaks, the Norski can finish on either side of the basket, and the defender has to decide where to guard before she does because of her balance and length. She is a unique athlete, and she’ll be fun to watch because she’s only going to improve.
Madilyn Reott Madilyn Reott 5'7" Stoughton | 2024 WI
The Stoughton guard may be one of the most underappreciated guards in the conference. Reott is an excellent athlete and incredibly aggressive on both ends of the floor. I like how she forces the issue and makes things happen, whether pressuring the ball 90 plus feet or attacking the paint to score or create for her teammates. I enjoyed watching her at last year’s Top250 Expo in Appleton, so I kept with her last season and enjoyed watching her do what she does best. She’d be an excellent fit at a small school, and I believe coaches will love her when they see her play.
