I'm choosing a player from each team, that I saw, and I'll have even more from Prime Time Nationals #NBC22 on my website so stay tuned, be ready, like the players were on the court, in front of me

[player_tooltip player_id='653813' first='Tate' last='Plank'] ([program_tooltip program_id='715168' first='True' last='Texas Hoops'] 2026 Blue)

Plank will have defenders "walking the plank" trying to contain her because her BB-IQ is ahead of her years. She already "gets it" and she "gives it" to the right teammate, at the right time. On top of her court vision, she also handles the ball well under pressure, yes that's her on the cover which you better do because she can score both off the dribble and with the jumper

Devaeh Johnson (Amarillo Lady Blue Devils)

Johnson is "long and athletic", one of my favorite profiles, see below, and her "on the ball" defense is one of her many intangibles. Another is her ability to not only play the passing lane but handle the ball under pressure in the open court after the steal. She also does a good job creating her shot in the set and scored off the dribble, after contact

Amaya McDonald (Pro Skills 2026 Williams)

McDonald being called a #D1Lock is a "no brainer" and even the novice evaluators should get that and here's why. She's over "the magic number" which is 6'0, she's "long and athletic" which is the base and she's powerful in the paint. Her inside presence alone will command respect, love her upside because she battles, which is something you can't teach and she has good timing to block, alter and (or) deflect

Hannah Shaw (RBA Academy 2026)

Shaw uses her body well, in fact, she attacks the basket strongly and finishes powerfully, at times with players literally hanging on her, now that's strong. Her rebounding, on both ends, was nice and yes, she scored on putbacks but what she also did was show that she could make passes under pressure for assist opportunities

Rhianna Kinsey ([program_tooltip program_id='713454' first='Lady' last='Jets'] Elite)

Kinsey is putting together several pieces to her already impressive puzzle of a game and by puzzle, I mean"it will be puzzling" for defenders to contain her. let me start with her UPS followed by OMG and that in itself brings back what she did. She goes after everything off the rim and she finishes strongly after contact but she also creates her shot and the pull-up was sweet

[player_tooltip player_id='885903' first='Tayla' last='Morris'] (TX Platinum 2026 Bartlett)

Morris mixed it up nicely and impressed me off the top as she understood how to create her shot. She set the defender up nicely to attack, finished after contact, or show the jumper, which she knocked down, even while being contained yet she also "played within herself" which will always be HUGE and saw the floor well

Ashlyn Tucker ([program_tooltip program_id='712775' first='Prodigy' last=''] 13U/14U)

Tucker is, drumroll please, long and athletic, the base hasn't changed and never will. Watching her desire in the paint immediately "set it off" for me because I love #THRO[program_tooltip program_id='715726' first='WBA' last='']CK stuff as well as "things you can't teach" and her wanting the ball off the rim, on both ends as well as battling for positioning, JUST DID IT for me. She also scored on putbacks, and around the basket

Galilea Morales (West Texas Fuze)

Morales is what you would call a zone-buster because she's already showing she can knock it down from DEEP and that in itself will rise some eyebrows because she does it consistently by creating her shot or in transition, yes the stop and pop long-range is hard to handle. She also did a good job seeing the floor and making tough passes look easy

[player_tooltip player_id='1251595' first='Selah' last='Johnson'] ([program_tooltip program_id='715168' first='True' last='Texas Hoops'] 2026 Red)

Johnson understands something very important and that's "getting hers in the flow". She also plays within herself, the SIMINATOR defines that as not forcing anything so playing smart and steady are little things that will become big as she progresses. She also scored off the dribble, defended, and has good upside

I'm choosing a player from each team, that I saw, and I'll have even more from Prime Time Nationals #NBC22 on my website so stay tuned, be ready, like the players were on the court, in front of me
