Destinee Barnes Destinee Barnes 6’0″ | CG Winston Salem Christian National | 2023 State NC (featured photo) is fun to watch as she uses her athleticism to play any position on the court, and this translates to the defensive side of the ball as well. She can drive hard against anyone battling through contact for some points, and she doesn’t hesitate when it comes to setting herself up around the arc to show off her shot. She does well taking matters into her own hands even when she is double teamed, and she sees the floor well finding her open teammates.
Madison Young Madison Young 5’10” | CG Northwest Guilford | 2023 State NC is crafty with her ball handling being able to use both sides of the court to get around her opponents. She has good size allowing her to shoot over her opponents, and she can certainly get up and elevate over them when needed. She sees the floor well knowing how to make plays with her passes by drawing defenders towards her and opening up the court for her teammates. As a true hustler, she is constantly gaining possession from loose balls and knocking the ball away for some steals. We will be able to watch her talents at the next level at Concord University.
