Barnes will be taking her talents to Texas next season with Odessa College. She has been been able to elevate over opponents with ease to show off her shot or grab a rebound. She moves quickly up and down the court finding ways to push the tempo whether she takes it all the way to the hoop herself, or she finds an open teammate filling the lanes for some points. She is tough on defense not shying away from contact, and she can certainly find ways to jump in passing lanes to grab the steal.

was constantly in the right spot at the right time whether she was flashing up the court on a fast break or sliding into an opening to put up her jump shot. She can even set herself up on the block posting up for some points.

(featured photo) is fun to watch as she uses her athleticism to play any position on the court, and this translates to the defensive side of the ball as well. She can drive hard against anyone battling through contact for some points, and she doesn’t hesitate when it comes to setting herself up around the arc to show off her shot. She does well taking matters into her own hands even when she is double teamed, and she sees the floor well finding her open teammates.
