Laney Havlovitz Laney Havlovitz 5'5" | PG Wild Rose | 2023 State WI
The rising Wild Rose senior plays hard 110% of the time. She gets into her assignments jersey and makes life miserable for the 36 minutes she’s on the floor. Havlovitz is fast, has quick hands, and wrecks the opposing team’s point of attack. It’s incredible how much she affects all aspects of the game, especially at 5-foot-3. She finished last season with averages of over 23 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. If she continues her career at that next level, she’ll make a small school’s staff extremely happy.
Cali Havlovitz Cali Havlovitz 5'5" | CG Wild Rose | 2025 State WI
If you couldn’t figure out by the last name Cali is the younger sister of Laney, and they both create havoc at the point of attack. The rising sophomore flies all over the floor and makes plays that only a few kids could make. Watching her play with Wisconsin Blizzard’s 2025 group only highlighted what Cali can do on the floor. She was impressive. When I see her layout for a loose ball at 9:45 p.m. when her team is up by double digits late, it shows me two things, one being that that’s who she is all the time, and two, it shows how desperate she is to win.
The best part of Cooper’s defense is that she is good at turning opposing guards’ mistakes into easy offense in a hurry. Not only does she read passing lanes well and get her hands on the ball all the time, but she can make long-range passes and has the confidence to attempt those passes whenever they’re available. Her long-range passing was on full display at the Resch Center last March, and she’s continuing to improve.
Lucy Leininger Lucy Leininger 5'11" | PF Germantown | 2024 State WI
The rising junior Warhawk was one of only four kids to average more than three blocks and three steals last season. You wouldn’t think a 5-foot-11 kid would dominate defensively in a talented Greater Metro Conference, but she did in her first season of varsity ball at Germantown. However, her length and athleticism are unique traits and make her one of the most productive defensive kids in the state. She’s improved a ton since she started her sophomore season, and following a solid summer with Chapman Basketball Academy’s 16u Gold team, expect an even better junior season.
