Hanna Bultman Hanna Bultman 5'11" | PF St. Thomas More | 2026 State WI
At about 5-11 or 6-0 Bultman is one of the more intriguing post kids in the 2026 class. She’s not a kid who shies away from contact. She’ll search it out. The Cavalier has also spaced the floor a little and made a handful of perimeter jumpers to force defenses to step out and keep her from hurting them from the three-point line. Overall, her physicality is something schools will like and be a reason to watch her play at least once.
Kaia Waldrop Kaia Waldrop 6'0" | C Notre Dame | 2026 State WI
The Notre Dame forward is probably the most physical kid in Wisconsin. Waldrop has always risen to the physical challenges of being a young player playing for a state title. In her debut against Pewaukee, Waldrop made a statement about the kind of player she is and never looked back. Her physicality and touch around the rim have made her one of the top back-to-the-basket post players in the state. There’s plenty of room to grow for her skill-wise. However, her mentality on the floor will jump out to anyone who watches her play.
Crist is two different players in her high school season and AAU season. At Cuba City, she plays as a five. She’s scoring in the paint, controlling the glass, altering shots around the rim, and screening for her guards, and her role helped her Cuba City team to a D4 Title Game, so it worked for them. At Let it Rain, she shows more offensively by stepping out and taking some jumpers. She’s a more well-rounded post-player than most may give her credit for if they only see her with Cuba City. Crist is a sure-fire next-level player, and anyone looking for a post in 2025 should give her a look.
Madi Thomson Madi Thomson 5'11" | PG Lena | 2026 State WI
At the state tournament, Lena drew some of the biggest crowds in Green Bay. Most of the talk afterward was about Eva Brooks Eva Brooks 6'0" | PF Lena | 2025 State WI and her performances in D5. However, Thomson was as significant as Brooks to the Wildcats’ success. The 5-10 wing proved to be a solid cutter and rebounded the ball at a high clip on both ends of the floor. Since Thomson found different ways to get to the rim and score in the paint, she rarely took jumpers. However, when Thomson did shoot, it looked good. If she had to take multiple three-pointers per game for Lena, they would’ve been ok with that.
