Continue ReadingI had just had a vision as 4 of these players play for the same club team, SA Finest, and a total of 6 on my initial 25 or in that organization which means quite a few things starting with “they are going to create some problems” on the court yet it’s all about progression and from what I’ve seen, these players I have dropped will continue to get better.
The list will change as I see more players, if I ain’t seen you, it ain’t happen, please don’t send me any stats because I don’t care, and here’s one of the main reasons. I know players that have averaged 30, 40, and even 50 points per game that panned out in college. I also know numbers can be inputted incorrectly by those with agendas, I have none and don’t let me start with the deepfake videos so in closing, one more time, always check where I’ll be
Brittney Anderson Brittney Anderson 5'5" | SG Legacy SSS | 2026 State TX -5’5 (Legacy SSS) Just Play Elite
Anderson is one of the most explosive scorers in her class. She attacks the basket powerfully and finishes strongly after contact, but she elevates off the ground with that same power. She can create her shot under pressure and spring off the ground for the release yet watching her improved stop and pop in transition tells me a lot about what’s coming. Solid ball-handler, takes good shots in the flow
Arianna Davis Arianna Davis 5'7" | SG Antonian | 2026 State TX -5’7 (Antonian) SA Finest
Davis gave me an eyeful this season, first at one of the PBR July events, using the search bar will validate, and then again at the Alamo City Hoops HS Showdown more recently. Her jumper is smooth and consistent, she sets the defender up with a deceptive first step to get things going yet her variety of moves, including the step back, sometimes has the defender at her mercy. Mid to long range, yes, off the dribble, yes, watch out for more, YES
Bella Flemings Bella Flemings 6'0" | SG Brennan | 2026 State TX -6’0 ( Brennan) SA Finest
Fleming just wowed me in the 5th grade and just by watching, how do I say this, her mannerisms as well as her doing things instinctively as well as how she reacted to certain situations, all against older players, some heading to high school, sold me on her being a NATIONAL prospect. She has the size, college coaches love big guards that can shoot, yet she can also overpower smaller guards by posting them up as well as taking them off the dribble
Kamora Pruitt Kamora Pruitt 6'2" | SG Desoto | 2026 State TX -6’2 (Desoto) Team Lex
Pruitt just amazed me this club season and watching her shoot it from, well everywhere legitimized her being a BCS shooting guard. She’s long and athletic, that’s the base, and her intangibles were on full display. She dropped the jumper in the set, in transition as well as off the screen yet watching her play the passing lane and score showing the pull-up was equally impressive as her rebounding and going coast to coast to finish or just stopping for the mid to long-range
Yasmeen Schmidt Yasmeen Schmidt 6'0" | SG Cornerstone Christian | 2026 State TX – 6’0 (Cornerstone) SA Finest
Schmidt has one of the nicest jumpers in the state, all classes included, and watching her just pull up, elevate and release will be forever embedded in my mind. Mid to long-range has always been there, the thing is range is deeper and more creativity in the set has her dropping the 10-15 footer. I also enjoyed her defense, she uses her length and timing well, plus she rebounded on both ends
Janea Walls Janea Walls 5'7" | SG Medina Valley | 2026 State TX -5’7 SG (Medina Valley) SA Finest
Walls falls into that “explosive scorer” category as she simply finds ways to put the ball into the basket and when you can do that, and put up numbers in droves, that speaks volumes. She has the midrange down to a tee, which is somewhat of a lost art but she also can drop it from distance, somewhere near NBA range. She handles the ball well, under pressure and can score off the dribble as well as see the floor
