The old adage that if you can shoot you can play on any level may be the ticket to the next level for many high school athletes. Three pointers were dropping in both gyms and here are some of the top shooters of the day.
Lasoni Offer
Lasoni Offer
When Lasoni gets her feet set her shot was money. She has a soft shot from the mid range and showed that she can hit long range shots as well. Her shots are more like set shots so she will need a little space to get it off but leave her open and you will pay.
Layla Burton

Anaya hitting five 3-pointers in a game which included three straight at one point puts her in the talk of best shooter in the building. With that being said she is a real threat to fill up the stat sheets this season and should be the focus of defenses from the opening tip.
Maggie Gross
Maggie Gross
Maggie showed good form and a good range from three. She was able to get to the line and was perfect from there. The Seahawks have a young team and Coach Mike Zivic is excellent at developing players so you can expect her to get opportunities and get better as the season progresses.
Kisa has a great shot and consistent form throughout. She can stop her dribble and pull up at any point and is accurate from a variety of areas on the floor. She is quick enough to create space for herself to get her shot off without a screen and her fast release doesn’t give defenders time to recover.
Taylor Conway

As I would look up I would see Taylor nailing another shot, then another. I like the form on her shot. I was interested in knowing how did she continue to repeatedly get open. I never found out I just know I’d look up and she was open for another jumper.
Bailey has one of the purest strokes in the game on any level. When open her shot is deadly, when covered her shot is deadly. The best defense for her is to not let her touch the ball. She was playing on an all-star team with all of her teammates being older and she still stood out as one of the elites. She has a bright future and will most certainly be bringing college coach traffic to Annapolis.

Tatum is a scrappy player with a great attitude. Her for is picture perfect and you get the feel that every shot is going in when she shoots. History tells us that being a coach’s daughter, brings out some of the best shooters and there is no reason to think this will change. Her team plays so unselfish and they were the only team of 8th graders in the building but still took their high school opponent to the buzzer. I’ll be keeping an eye on this one.
