<p>Here are five upperclassmen from the Dayton Shootout who caught my eye in the afternoon session at Bethel High School. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='446804' first='Abby' last='West'], 5-10 2023, Greenon</strong>- Had a great spring and it has continued over into the fall. She heads into her senior season at Greenon as one of the top seniors in Southwest Ohio. Abby is an intuitive rebounder, finishes well. Has a nice outside shot when set. Once she hits one they will continue to fall.</p>

<p><strong>Aleesa Combs, 5-3 2024, Dayton Stebbins</strong>- Small in stature but she has the ability to create and help her team in multiple ways. Not afraid to get physical on the ground for loose balls or jump balls. Likes to push the ball and always looks for the open man.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='59745' first='Taylor' last='Farris'], 5-9 2023, Oxford Talawanda</strong>- Farris <em>(featured image)</em> is an extremely athletic, skilled player. Sees the floor well on offense and defense. Instinctive, high IQ player. Watch out for a chase down block from her. Plays with confidence and has fun while doing it. Can hit difficult shots & finish at the rim with either hand. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='216014' first='Morgan' last='Meek'], 5-10 2024, Springboro</strong>- Jim and I got to see her during the season last year, and her game has improved and she is a solid threat for the Panthers. Good jumpshot and has smooth handles. Pushes the ball hard in transition. Great active footwork. Look for her stock to continue to rise.</p>

<p><strong>Shelby Keister, 5-6 2023, Dayton Christian</strong>- Was the leader for Dayton Christian last season, and looks to make a bigger impact this upcoming season. Lefty with a smooth shot, gritty player, active on defense. She has a smart basketball IQ and is ready to have a great senior season!</p>

<p><strong>Emma Neff, 5-9 2023, Dayton Oakwood</strong>- Emma is a player who can hurt you in many ways on the court. Makes great cuts to the basket. Solid passer and good court vision. Great defender, with active hands. A player who is patient </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='366789' first='Peyton' last='Shafer'], 5-9 2024, Goshen</strong>- Peyton is a high IQ player who has a good skill set. Nice attack to the rim and smooth finishes. Creative with how she looks to put the ball in the hoop, knows how to move the ball. Active on both ends of the floor. Expect a solid season this winter.</p>
