Emma Grimes, 5’10 W/F – Rutland High School Class of ’26
Emma was a problem in the paint all night long. When Grimes got position inside, the defense was at her will. She has a legit Dream Shake, throwing defenders off and opening up windows for her baby hook. Emma also worked the boards on both sides of the floor, putting her on double-double watch. She played straight up post defense and used her frame well to box out. Emma plays hard, smart, and with a great disposition.
Charlotte Jasmin Charlotte Jasmin 5'8" | SG Hartford | 2026 State New E , 5’9 G – Hartford High School Class of ’26
There were numerous times where Charlotte read the offense’s mind, deflecting passes and collecting them for tough transition buckets. Jasmin has quick feet too, and she uses her frame well to push players off their line, preventing them from getting to their spots. Charlotte can rebound well on both sides of ball as well. Her strength is apparent when she bullies taller players in the paint and finishes through contact. Charlotte is a gritty presence for sure.
Anna Moser, 5’6 G – Rutland High School Class of ’26
I don’t think Anna has ever played a game of basketball with a low grade of intensity. Moser was picking up full court throughout the night with hard pressure and soft pressure, making ballhandlers uncomfortable and unsure of themselves. Anna caused a number of unforced errors, but really it was her consistent dogging that forced the turnovers. Moreover, Anna filled it up at all three levels. Whether it be 1v1 or in the pick and roll, Anna knocked down threes off the bounce, pull ups in the mid-range, and a crafty lay-up package. Keep an eye on this one.
Ruby Dasaro Ruby Dasaro 5'7" Bellows Free Academy | 2024 State New E , 5’7 G – BFA St. Albans High School Class of ’24
When Ruby is in the game, she’s in nearly every play. Her hustle and anticipation are elite as she always seems to be in the mix for 50/50 balls, often coming out with possession. It’s important to mention that her defense is usually the cause of the loose ball, as she’s got great length and quickness to make ballhandler second guess themselves. With the ball in her hands, Dasaro can get to the cup going either direction and she has a good sense of how to protect the ball in order to get off her shot. Ruby is an agile guard with some really great intangibles.
Kaia Anderson, 5’8 G – St. Johnsbury Academy Class of ’24
Kaia can really get after it. Anderson’s strength and quickness go a long way but it’s her hoop IQ and work ethic that really sets her apart. Kaia has great instincts when it comes to cutting players off of their drives and choking them up, throwing them off balance with her solid defensive position. It’s likely that her impressive defense is informed by her abilities on the offensive end; Kaia knows how to get her own too. She shot the ball efficiently and in the flow of the offense, getting solid looks all over the floor and finishing at a high clip. Kaia can do a little of everything.
Louisa Painter, 5’10 W/F – Mt. Abraham High School Class of ’25
Louisa showed some great flashes of ability. Painter’s movement off the ball had intention and great awareness, consistently moving to open space and making windows for clean passes. She knocked down open looks at an efficient rate, and if her shot wasn’t there she kept the ball moving by either driving or reversing the ball. Louisa defends well too with her solid frame and anticipation. Painter can play 2-4 and doesn’t miss a beat; she has a great sense of space and can occupy various spots on the court while also defending a variety of player types.
