Allie Fullem, 6’1 F – Blueprint Basketball Class of ’23
Fullem is a mobile forward who’s comfortable inside and out. She’s a strong screener in the pick and roll, rolling hard to the rim for easy lay-ups over the top. However, Allie is also capable of hitting catch and shoot jumpers too; most notably from three-point land, but she can also dabble in the mid-range. Moreover, Fullem is a defensive anchor. Allie never shies away from contact, often challenging drivers at the rim or taking big-time charges. Fullem rebounds well with her length and strength and hit’s outlet passes early, jump starting the fastbreak. Fullem is an essential piece to the defensive unit and her offensive repertoire makes her effective on both ends of the floor.
Samara Ashooh Samara Ashooh 6'0" | PF Champlain Valley Union | 2024 State New E , 6’1 F – Lone Wolf Athletics Class of ’24
It’s always fun to see a player develop, especially in a rather short period of time. Ashooh is honing in her perimeter jump shot, stretching her range to 10-15 feet with improved efficiency. This development certainly makes her a more dangerous offensive player, as she’s already operating comfortably in the mid to high post area with timely passes to cutters and fellow post players. On the defensive end, Samara’s length is undeniably effective. She’s able to challenge shots while also sticking close to her primary assignment, remaining in the play and keeping solid rebounding position. I’m interested to see the Two Towers of Ashooh and Addison Hunter Addison Hunter 6'0" | PF Champlain Valley | 2023 State New E operating side-by-side at CVU this winter.
Addison Hunter Addison Hunter 6'0" | PF Champlain Valley | 2023 State New E , 6’0 F – Lone Wolf Athletics Class of ’23
Hunter is a strong forward with a multi-faceted game. Addi has the ability to score at all three levels; her catch and shoot three is fluid and her mid-range game is deadly. Pair that with an array of post moves, counters, and the ability to make plays for others, and you have someone who is highly effective on the offensive end. She screens hard, rolls well to the rim and is adept at finishing within 15 feet. Defensively, Hunter can defend 3-5 and is a constant double-double threat on the boards. While Hunter isn’t a premier shot blocker, her positioning and wit make it difficult for players to make a decision with any degree of ease. Addi is a heady forward with a high floor and a tall ceiling.
Sydney Perry Sydney Perry 6'0" | PF Windsor | 2024 State New E , 6’0 F – Lone Wolf Athletics Class of ’24
Perry is a stout defender who knows how to stand her ground in the post. She absorbs contact well and maintains position, forcing players to beat her with tough shots or pass out of their move. Moreover, she rotates well on drives with her timely ability to get into help position and force players off their line. Sydney doesn’t shy away from contact on the offensive end either. She has a strong drop step and finishes well over the top of defenders. I’m interested to see where Perry takes her game from here.
Izzy Simone, 6’1 F – Lone Wolf Athletics Class of ’26
As one of the tallest and longest players in ’26 with the touch and skill to boot, Izzy has been one of the most effective players in her class. Simone is someone who can change the outcome of a game on her own. She has a knack for collecting boards, not purely due to her length but also her sound anticipation of where the ball will come off. Moreover, she keeps the ball high and out of reach of pesky guards digging in which allows her to put up second chance shots with ease or outlet the ball safely to guards. Naturally, she clogs the lane well, forcing opponents to shoot outside of the paint or over the top of her outstretched arms. Izzy finishes well around the hoop and has a jumper that’s efficient 10 feet out. I’m excited to see Izzy’s ongoing development.
