Being an offensive weapon from deep and able to mix up her defender to get to a floater, it was a busy day trying to stay in front of her. The quick, and dominate PG with elite handles will join a Cedar Rapids Prairie team in the next few years that looks to grow from their last season where they went 6-16 overall. Returning 4 of 5 starters, some light bench experience, the addition of Worley, Brynlie Hadenfeldt, Emily Larson. and Coach Murray, the Hawks will have a very different look this winter and going forward with a chance to take over their conference in the 22′-23′ season and into the future.
Highlights
Josie Potts Josie Potts 5’6″ Dubuque | 2023 IA led her team to competitive games all afternoon. Being a leader who can bring up the ball or move to the off guard position, Potts controlled the game whenever she was on the floor. With a solid handle under pressure, great instincts when to pass, and the knowledge to get back and defend the hoop on fast breaks, she has to be seen on the floor at all times if you are matched up. Averaging 7.1 PPG last season for the Dubuque Senior Rams, Josie will look to take her solid AAU summer progress and turn it into a more successful High School season later this year.
