of Prairie High School. What I mean by that is, Worley will be competing on an EYCL team this upcoming AAU season and then during Winter to end the year, she will be by herself returning as her team’s top producer. So it’ll be fun to see how she responds to all of these changes. Worley has been a known bucket ever since she was in middle school. If she wants to win a lot of games coming up, she is going to have to tap into that while still being a great passer of the basketball in key situations. In this Rankings Update, Worley comes in at #5, a respectable spot to be in moving forward.

CR – Prairie has had their up’s and down’s this season but they have stood resilient as we have been moving towards the end of their regular season recently. One of the, “glue prospects”, helping lead this rush is UNI commit, PG –

. Worley has stepped her game up big time over the past month or so on and off of the ball. She has been hitting more jumpers from deep, opening up the offensive side of the game for her a little bit more and she has been still holding serve when it comes to controlling pace of play or the tempo of the game in general. Defensively, she is getting her hands on the basketball in the forms of tips/deflection on a consistent basis and that’s leading to turnovers or bad possesses for the opponent. This is one of those groups I wouldn’t want to see during the Playoff’s on the road. They do some tricky stuff defensively and they have a handful of college level commits, who might just ruin your day if you aren’t careful.

Worley was in her basketball bag during a late-January meeting with No. 4 Iowa City High. The junior led all scorers with 23 points, knocking down four of six attempts from behind the arc. The future UNI Panther also recorded eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and a pair of blocks. By the way, she didn’t turn the ball over, at all. That’s a game to put high on your resume. It highlighted her broad base of skills and efficiency. Worley limits mistakes and delivers winning plays. She scores on all three levels, possesses a deft handle and can get downhill in a hurry. Strength and quickness help her crash the boards and defend on the ball. Northern Iowa secured a commitment from a good one. But you already knew that. On this night, Worley felt the need to remind everyone, just in case.

If you are looking at things from a straight statistical standpoint, Keaonaa Worley is doing a great job at assisting those around her while keeping her turnovers to a minimum. Anyone that has seen Worley compete knows that she is smooth with it. She works effortlessly down the floor with some shifty moves in her bag and those moves lead to a lot of opportunities for others. Worley is going to have to continue putting up these numbers of the next few years if Prairie wants to continue to see success. I think this will also be the key with her getting on the floor at UNI as well once she is at that age but we still have a few years before we are at that point.

has had to step up a little bit more this Winter due to the graduation of some of their key pieces from last season. Worley is a fast-twitch PG with natural instincts. She is smooth with the basketball, making things seem effortless when she is in her groove. You would consider Worley a pass-first Point Guard. Now and at the next level she will be looked upon to lead with the ball in her possession coming down the court as she calls out the plays. Defensively, she is not afraid to get into her opponent’s space and create chaos either. Something that will need to stay consistent if she wants to see time early on in her career once she gets to UNI. All in all, Worley is a good player, that should only get better as she continues to get older.

has debatably been in the spotlight her entire life as it pertains to this sport but this season will be a little different. This season we should really see if Worley is going to be able to take her game to the next level. The recently committed UNI Panther is now locked in for her college commitment and therefore, she should have a lot of stress lifted off of her shoulders moving into her Junior season. She will be the teams PG #1 and she will be looked upon to make all of the big plays for this squad over the next six months. She will have some help in general but overall, it’s going to be up to her when we talk about how far this group can go during Playoff time. If she demonstrates that she is really is a D1 PG, everyone in the 5A Class better watch out because then CR – Prairie becomes scary moving into the Post-season.

just took a visit to UNI after receiving an offer from the Panthers this past AAU season. Worley is a smooth operator that makes everything seem really easy. She floats with the ball off the dribble and she is really good at creating for others around her when attacking the teeth of the defense. Worley is going to have to step up this Winter if her team wants to make it back to the State Tournament. They will return most of the same from a year ago but now she is going to be an upperclassmen that will be looked upon to lead. She had that same responsibility last Winter and she succeeded so now it will be expected. If she takes control of impactful opportunities, CR Prairie is going to like where it will take them.

put up in her Missouri Phenom Iowa Team’s 4PM contest today. Worley led the way by eating on the defensive end with her quick hands and savvy guard-play. This sparked the team’s engine per se and really helped them put together a compete game as a team for a W. We have mentioned Worley for a couple weeks in a row now. If she keeps up play like this, I’m sure that she is going to see a few more collegiate offers before she gets into her Junior year at CR – Prairie.

continues to put together impactful weeks on the road as PG #1 for her AAU program. Worley is creating and distributing at a high rate, she is making sound choices on both sides of the ball, she is causing some chaos defensively with her active feet and quick hands, all while always being one of the first on the floor for a loose ball. Worley is the definition of a dawg out on the court. She leaves it all out on the line each game and it’s quite noticeable at this point in her career. I’m not sure where Worley will end up yet but her interest continues to grow from the collegiate level so we will just have to sit back and watch.

ever since she was in middle school and she just received her first official offer from Stephen’s College in Missouri. Worley is a quick and shifty PG out of the 2027 Class, that moves effortlessly with the ball. For her Sophomore season last Winter she led her CR – Prairie team to a State appearance while doing what she could in the aspects of controlling pace, running offense, and playing sound defense. As I say almost weekly at this point, this is Worley’s first offer but it won’t be her last. She can GO and that’s going to become more and more attractive at the college level as she continues to get older.
