Averaging 21.3 PPG on 53.2% shooting, 9.9 RPG, and 4.3 APG, ranking herself in the top 5 for overall scoring out of the 4A class during the 21′-22′ season. Lopreato is a strong scoring guard who likes to create contact and crash the boards with the ability to finish. She will look to lead The Panthers to a more successful record this season after finishing 12-11 overall, 5-5 in conference. Andreas hard work this off-season will help her expand her game and elevate her team to new heights.
Callie Levin Callie Levin 5’10” | PG Solon | 2024 State IA looks to repeat her sophomore year statistically; while leading her team on a journey to win a conference championship. While averaging 21 PPG on 43.6% shooting, 3.7 RPG, and 4.2 APG, the elite guard put defenders on skates all year long for the Solon Spartans. Levin followed this season with a good AAU summer for All Iowa Attack EYBL, where she competed for a national championship and consistently put up big numbers. The Iowa women’s basketball commit will attempt to have a better season this winter with the Spartans individually, and as a team. This feat maybe a challenge to accomplish but with Callie’s skillset and dedication, it’s possible.
Highlights
Lydia Olejniczak Lydia Olejniczak 5’8″ | SF Perry | 2023 State IA ranked in the top 10 in the 4A class in scoring last season with 474 total points scored in 23 games played. Averaging 20.6 PPG on 37.5% a game, accompanied with 7.7 RPG, and 1.8 APG. The strong forward is a competitor with a drive that doesn’t stop when she is on the floor. Being able to score going toward the hoop, or bring it out to shoot the three ball, Lydia poses a problem for defenses when she is out there. She will look to lead the Perry Jayettes to an overall .500 record this upcoming season after finishing 9-14 overall, 4-9 in conference.
Doryn Paup
Doryn Paup
Doryn Paup joins the Creston Panthers for her senior year after being dominate in the post last season. Averaging 18.8 PPG on 56.5% shooting, 7.2 RPG, and shooting 63% from the free throw line. The crafty center looks to post up any time she has the chance once the ball is tipped, understanding that her game is more advanced than most her age for the position. Mixed with being able to use both hands, calculated footwork, and awareness of situations, Paup is going to build on the 21′-22′ momentum to lead the Panthers to a winning record overall this winter after finishing 12-10 overall, and 5-5 in conference the previous year. With the offense functioning around herself in the middle, we will see if Doryn can take this squad to the next level once playoffs come around.
