, aka Miss Iowa Basketball, is ELECTRIC whenever she is on the floor. She is a high energy player, who plays with her emotions on her sleeve. Levin is an Iowa commit and I know she can’t wait to get on campus to help her home state Hawkeyes. I would say that Levin is as versatile as they come at the Guard position. She has the ability to move between the 1 or the 2 spot, depending on who she has on the floor around her. At the high school Varsity level, she has been unstoppable the past few years. She has demonstrated that she can take anyone off of the dribble or she can step back and hit shots from deep. I’m not exactly sure where she is going to fit within the Hawkeyes offense but she works really hard so I’m not too worried. She is going to find her own role on their team and I can’t wait to see what that role may be. As of right now though, she will end her career in the #2 spot of this loaded 2024 Class.

of Solon High School. Levin is having probably her best high school season to date. Both individually and as a team with her Spartans. Offensively, she has been on fire. Making a lot of shots from all of the court at a high rate, each night. Defensively, she has been a problem for some of her matchups. She has a good head on her shoulders and understands when to make a play for the ball compared to waiting back, making her defender have to create in a nifty way or else it will be a TO. I’m excited to see Levin and how she is going to lead her team in the Playoff’s. If she can keep everyone in-line while scoring at the rate she has, this Spartans team is going to be very tough to beat in the 3A Class.

couldn’t miss. There is a phenomenon that occurs on the hardwood at times that is very hard to explain. Just like when you are in “your zone”, you space out what is going on around you while still producing at an insanely high level in whatever you are doing. I like to call it “being unconscious” and that is what we have happening here. Levin has been unconscious this week. She has had some impressive offensive games over her career but none more impressive than her contest last night at home against Regina Catholic. In this one, she finished the game with a career high 40 Points, 11 Rebounds, 4 Assists, and 3 Steals. Anytime someone puts up a 40-piece, it’s noteworthy. Especially when it was against a Top 5 team in the 2A Class. I’m not going to go into specifics here but as you can imagine, Levin was doing more of her usual and scoring at all three levels at Will. This is a contest where no one could matchup with Levin and she is was well aware of that. The end of the season is quickly approaching and for Solon to have their best player firing on all cylinders like this, is a great sign moving forward for Coach Smith and the Spartans.

flourish right before our eyes. Levin has always been a player with a high ceiling on the basketball court but over these past few years, her production on the high school floor has been second-to-none throughout the state. She has put up eye-opening stat lines, she has demonstrated that she can produce on and off of the ball, and she has always been a great teammate to the others around her. This season she has been doing exactly what you’d expect. She is setting up others for success, scoring from all three levels, defending with discipline, and her team is winning because of it. As of most recent, Levin broke her program’s 3-point record for total makes. This is an awesome accolade I’m sure she will remember for the rest of her life. Following this season, she will suit up for the top ranking Iowa Hawkeyes. I’m not sure of how the Hawkeye’s roster is going to look by the time we get to next season but if Levin continues to work on her game, she is going to be someone we could hear about at Iowa over the next couple of years.

Levin has been an Iowa Hawkeyes commit for a few years now and for good reason. She is highly skilled in all aspects of the game. She can lead her team offensively in anyway asked, while being a stifling defender to anyone bringing up the basketball. Her game speaks for itself and that’s blatantly obvious if you watch her compete for as little as five minutes.

is going to try and help her Solon High School team piece together one more run before she will be lacing up for the Iowa Hawkeyes at the next level. Levin is a versatile player right now on the court, that will eventually be moved to a specific position or two on the Collegiate floor. What Levin has right now is a superior mixture of size and skill compared to most of the competition she faces on a regular basis. Individual wise, there is not too many players that I would take over her throughout Iowa in 1V1 situations. Defensively, it’s more of the same. Her Spartans team needs her to move around quite a bit it seems but because of that, they see a lot of success overall throughout the year. It’s going to be fun to see how this season of Girls High School basketball unfolds. It should be one of the best we have seen in a long time here in Iowa. There are a lot of college level players that will shine, Levin included.

. Levin, the Hawkeyes WBB commit and #2 ranked player out of Iowa in the 2024 class, had a nice season to finish off her last year of travel ball. Levin’s game is an interesting one. She is a scoring point guard by all definitions but she usually has a big size advantage as well. This leaves her moving to the 2 or 3 positions on occasions. This spring/summer Levin had her way on the court. She did what she wanted too, when she wanted to. There wasn’t many players that had the mixture of size, smarts, and skill to stay with her throughout an entire game. This selection was an easy one for myself. The player who has been fantastic over her high school career, having another great AAU season, who will soon be a point guard for the Iowa Hawkeyes after this year. It makes sense.
